He’s been a makeshift LB for us this season
-
He’s def not pulled up any trees since he’s been. We’d have been rinsed had we bought him. Bullet dodged

Two good wins for the u21’s and u18’s respectively over the last few days. First game, first win for O’Carroll. Mason Miley stepping up to the 18’s. Plays same position as his brother. Think we’re on for a Miley dynasty lads, there’s loads of them. Also when one Ndiweni leaves, another arrives! Blackburn u21 (H, 2-0) (Turner-Cooke x2) https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/newcastle-united-under-21s-2-blackburn-rovers-under-21s-0 https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/video/693195 Liverpool u18 (A, 3-2. People need to remember he only turned 20 a few weeks ago. Most players his age are nowhere near putting in the level of some of the performances he’s had thus far. Stop judging him like he’s a 27 year old in the prime of his career. He’s very good. He will be very very good. But he’s still learning.

Don’t want to them ever find out what “the problem” is. I want them troubleshooting forever, just going round in circles blaming manager then players then board in perpetuity.
-
I literally can’t. We stuff them every year
-
Just said Twente wanted it more the other day
-
Them spending all summer courting replacements for ten Hag, it being common knowledge they wanted him gone, and coming out with no one, calling ETH on his holiday in Ibiza to say they’re keeping him, then giving him billions of millions to spend is a standard of incompetence I didn’t think it was possible for them to achieve

Instant assist for Sarr and Solanke sends them streaming out!

Ashworth masterclass
-
Mount’s transfer there has been a complete disaster. Wrecked his England career, just as Sancho’s was by going there, just as Rashford’s has been. But you could say that for most of their players.
-
Kulu shaker!!
-
They’ve wanted him since their little mini takeover. Would tally with Southgate saying he wants a job out of football.
-
Yeah and he also has really hard “G’s” to hide his accent.
-
My god, boos reigning down at waterfall park. Neville on comms, Ashworth with a face like a slapped arse in the stands and their players not giving a single shit. Orgasmic.
-
That needs overturning
-
Werner still doing Werner things
-
Just burst out laughing!

How hard is Neville trying not to stick the boot in there. That was utter trash from them. The run was good but Rashford lost it then kept running the other way, then no one challenged vdv, no one goes with Johnson who has a tap in. Strange, I thought Ugarte was literally the best Dm ever who was gonna fix all of their problems.

No I was always in the “it’s complete bullshit” camp. The stories that were coming out about his head being a mess didn’t tally with the type of character we know Gordon to be. Downing tools is not in his nature. He didn’t even do it at Everton when he very easily could have (on the pitch I mean, obvs he kind of forced a move).

Interviewer: “Great celebrations when you scored. You kissed the badge. There’s been a lot of talk about your future. You didn’t look like a player that has been unsettled in that moment”. AG “No, I haven’t been (gives a bemused laugh). It’s quite hard as a player because you can’t really come out and say anything you just have to get on with stuff and focus on what’s important. I think fans can be guided by journalists, which is hard. I’ve never been in doubt here since the first day I came back for pre-season. It’s been quite hard for me that people have that perception of me (that he wanted to leave) at the minute, so that celebration was just to clarify that that’s not the case. I was planning that celebration and giving the fans that message for while but I hadn’t scored (at home) until today”. “Heads a mess” rumours well and truly put to bed with no supper. Said he was almost in tears at the wor flags display.

Ok it was “on” but it was totally the wrong pass to make. I put it down to him being exposed to too much Brexit ball at Burnley.
