Went into club shop, sports direct and start fitness. None of them had any shirt in my size (xl, usually an l but these are tight). Was gonna’ go into Castore and JD but couldn’t be bothered at that point as it was unlikely they’d have them. Solid pre season for him. Has looked good today and has grown in confidence as the game has gone on.

Lethargic first half. Not seen anything from Tonali to give me a clue of what type of player he is, just consistently gives the ball away. Murphy looks ok. Gordon good and infuriating in equal measure. Anderson prob best of a bad bunch. Would like to see more of Miley in an attacking/creative sense. Isak basically not in the game. Pretty slick move for the goal. Pitch looks patchy on my river.

I’m not saying they’re gonna’ go on to have a great season, I’m just saying it’s a huge pre-season defeat to much lower league opposition which although inconsequential is nonetheless hilarious.

Would rather keep him here as I think he’s pretty much ready for the first team bench/close to starting some games. Enzo Maresca is a good coach and it shows how highly thought of Miley is that recently relegated Prem teams want him, usually our youngsters get sent to Scotland or some League Two backwater.
