Maybe to a degree but they still normally put the flag up after the event for offsides because it’s not (usually) subjective. Agree that they probably don’t give decisions on penalties and red cards sometimes because they know VAR is there though

Decisions like that make you realise that VAR is probably needed. How on Earth did the linesman not give offside in real time
