I don't see it as an issue, he is a super fit guy who is probably training on his own. Also as per the Overlap podcast with Gary Neville he does a lot of training and yoga on his own during the season too. I think Gordon will be even better this season, he will have a chip on his shoulder from only playing 4 mins with england

I think we may experiment more with formations this season. Either 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 with hall moving to midfield similar to Zinchenko and Cancelo.

This is the player we should be after. He is young so will accept being behind and learning from Schar, but his main asset is that he is two footed so on highlights he can adeptly play RCB and LCB and also as full back too that gives great options. He is amazing on the ball for someone so young. He definitely has a few areas to work on but generally imo defenders mature later than other positions on the field. Also the price mentioned is lower than Thiaw and I believe he has a higher ceiling. If we get him and Soule from Juve that will be a great window and with Tonali they will settle in and integrate far quicker.

With one up top, 2 strikers is enough. Look at city they only have 2, Arsenal 2 if you include Eddie, Liverpool have 2 that can play in the 9 role. I think we have enough options if both were injured for a short period, either Gordon or Big Joe. Ideally the new RW will be able to play a bit part role as the 9 if required

If they are asking that much with only one year left on contract we definitely need to move on. Much better value to be had elsewhere
