  1. Also Craig Hope is going very heavy on the Cunha content, so weird there is all this talk when the season is still ongoing
  2. With Trippier likely going, I definitely think we need a new 'very good' full back and it's a pretty big priority they can fill in well
  3. I think at worst we will draw with Villa. We always match up well against them Less confident against Brighton
  4. One thing is for sure, the very top teams have a variety of players / skillsets for different situations which we don't at the minute Cunha certainly gives us that
  5. Not read the article but my thoughts too. Why would we give Hope any idea of who we actually want this Summer, unless it's a red herring like you said Do like the idea of a versatile forward mind
  6. Really unsure how we will approach summer in terms how much we are prepared to spend and the quality of players We could get DCL and Nicholas Kuhn probably way cheaper than a Delap and Akliouche/Bakayoko etc CB I'm not sure on where there are cheaper players / bargains / very talented players we could go for. Guehi, Huijsen etc are gonna cost at least £40-50m presumably
  7. If Chelsea are offering a 8 year contract it will probably be tempting
  8. I'll probably get blasted for mentioning his name, but Sean Casey suggested that we protect the LB more than the RB in our system, as we build up from the left side more (Hall) and Tino is excellent 1v1, so he often doesn't have a midfielder drop deep/support, ala Joelinton on the left side Makes sense to me imo
  9. Surely he'd be perfect for a team like Everton under Moyes
  10. His left footed deliveries have been amazing recently, better than his stronger foot on the right! Having Barnes helping his overlaps compared to Murphy will help mind
  11. Could do with a morale crushing defeat to PSG, like Liverpool did too

    Alexander Isak

Feel like he's forever going to have a 'not 100% groin'
  13. Naturally you might think, this next time is the time they finally go the other way Or at least I would think that 😂
  14. Villa always seem to beat Brighton. There's deffo a triangle between us 3 teams, sure Brighton tend to do well against us Honestly feel confident we will beat Villa away
  15. Having Osula as an 'unknown' for me makes it hard to judge what else we need up front Like TCD or others said, it's rare to have 3 legit strikers, having 2 strikers and Gordon as the third option is fine with me imo However, Osula hasn't shown to be decent back up for Isak, he may become this in time, but right now he isn't and next season, who knows. I also don't see Isak ever being bulletproof, like a Salah etc. His stamina has got better this season, but I deffo think our second striker will get solid minutes as a sub, and also in games as I don't see Isak playing 50-60 games a season, whether due to injuries or needing a rest
  16. Just can't see us spending £40m on a second striker, while we have Osula on the books too Happy to be wrong though. I guess if we did do this, then our PSR position is stronger than I thought Reckon Isak would love playing off someone like Delap on the rare chance we played with 2 strikers + got Delap
  17. Forest and Chelsea to drop points, and Villa/Brighton draw would be class these next couple days
  18. Yeah good point. If big money was spent, I'd rather it was on RW > CB > GK > ST. And I'm sure we can't go big on every position like you said Delap, Isak and Osula would be class like. Though wonder how we'd give Osula a chance / enough time
  19. Just a twitter observation, but the Liverpool fans seem to rate him as a prospect but don't see him as someone super talented / who could be a top 5 CB in the league. Can't say I've seen much of him myself, other than at right back in the final

    Lewis Hall

Agree with all this. 2 CL campaigns and 1 trophy in 3 years makes us clearly the 4 best performing team in the league over a 3 year period Probably even 3rd best if Arsenal don't win the CL this year, they are in desperate need of silverware Deffo should be a means to review our sponsorship income

    Joelinton

Think he's at his best specifically how we play him, higher up the pitch and not involved in build up, combative and disruptive, a target man for long balls and able to rotate/support the LW, and able to use his athleticism to join the back 4 when needed Don't see him being able to 'run the midfield' like Brazil probably wanted him to by seeing the line up
  22. Had this on my mind all day. If we are wanting to add depth to the squad in summer then I could see us going for him as an affordable Wilson replacement who also offers us something different. Not a fan imo as he seems quite a poor finisher GK - Trafford £20m ST - DCL £0 Then the rest to spend on CB + RW. With anymore only happening anyone leaves / is sold
  23. I completely forgot about DCL and the rumours around him existing ffs
  24. Nice to read all the praise on him. Beating Arsenal twice and Liverpool in a final with a score or 5-1 is insane, proves his tactical game is top. Would be one of our best seasons ever if we can finish 5th I quite like how despite his success of late, he still has areas he/we can improve on, like substitutions, rotation during busy schedules, our possession game etc Considering the fact he seems to obsess over the game and improving, it makes me think he can still take us up another level or 2 going forward Though some of potential improvements I mentioned will require good recruitment to enable it
