Livramento and Bruno are better than Timber/Odegaard, I deffo wouldn't swap them and I reckon Arsenal would
-
I remember us after 15 games last season being WDL 5-5-5 Currently we are 3-3-3. I reckon we'll get more than 8 points in the next 6 games, bettering last season (not factoring in teams played tbf) Then we have Hall/Tino/Wissa to come back, think we'll be in a good place and go on a Howe-run
-
We've won both games after our last 2 CL games, that's a great sign
-
Great news, feel like Howe specifically mentioning this 6 week pre season as something done intentionally and relating to him possibly not going for international duty
-
Noticed that a Marseille player got a red card, will he miss our game with it being in 2 games time?
-
Read that Valverde is out of favour at Madrid with Alonso in, don't you follow them closely @The College Dropout, is that true? I'm sure wages are crazily high and he'd have other suitors. Would be the dream Howe midfielder
-
I'm also of this opinion I'm dreaming of us getting Acheampong, apparently he can play at RB quite well and is an excellent ball carrier
-
Haaland is absolutely in the top tier of whatever football ranking that is used
-
Finding myself most looking forward to watching him play. Feel like I have no idea what he is going to do / how he is going to score

True. But in 2 years which I said, Schar will be a few months away from 36 and Burn 35. Not saying getting rid of them now. But we need a succession plan and not just waiting till they fall off a cliff Agree on a £50m singing being no good. Dream for me would be Acheampong, but fear he's playing to well for us to have a chance next summer
-
Burn and Schar are both 33, we will need 2 CB's in 1-2 years
-
With Joelinton and Ramsey expecting to be fit, I really hope we don't go 5 at the back
-
I agree that he's not the type of player we usually go for, I just think having Wolte now, something different on the wings would help. Isak used to run in behind all the time, Wolte won't be doing this, but will drop deep and be able to play in our wingers. Gordon/Elanga isnt prolific enough to make the most of that imo (early days..). Said it before but we need our version of Mane and Salah to pair with Wolte

Transfer wishlist / thoughts for next summer. Early days I know but I'm bored as fuck Akliouche Anderson Acheampong LB/RB? GK? I'd be open to selling Barnes for someone who gives us a different dynamic. Akliouche looks quality. Thinking Elanga can cover both sides. Wolte, Wissa, Akliouche, Gordon, Elanga and Murphy - front 6 Anderson, think we'd all like him back if possible. For me it depends on what happens with Miley, and if it would be worth selling Joelinton who'd be 30, depending on how much he'd fetch. If we haven't give Miley the minutes this season / he doesn't excel, consider a loan and keep Joelinton. If he does excel this season, consider moving on Joelinton Bruno, Tonali, Anderson, Ramsey, Miley/Joelinton - midfield 5 Acheampong - Looks unreal and only 19, tall, fast, good with the ball for a CB, loosely linked in the summer. Burn and Schar both 33, and Schar only 1 year left... Hopefully Chelsea want some Academy FFP profit Full back and GK - nee idea!

Might be just me but I can't see us moving away from the 4-3-3, it's the best position for the way Eddie Howe likes to play I feel like most of the top teams play 3 CM's, at least in the more challenging fixtures Deffo can see us being flexible though as and when it helps , playing with 2 strikers etc In a way it's a bit pointless talking about positions as binary as this, as the shape in possession and out of possession shape is what's meaningful.
-
Seems to be playing well for Brazil We are lucky we have him. He would absolutely feast in a more possession based side. He's passing is unreal, however he can also do all the out of possession stuff that we see him do every game for us Proper all rounder (shooting and speed aside 😂)
-
Contracts, contracts contracts... Tonali followed by Livramento please
-
Could have been a goat level RB / player without injuries
-
Would be absolutely monumental if this happened, it's exactly what all these shitey rules were brought into stop - a non big 6 club being consistently in the CL spaces I just really hope it's 5 clubs that get CL again this year Assuming Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City have the top 3 nailed Chelsea should be next best with their depth and quality. They pipped us the last 2 years, despite them never really actually looking better than us across the seasons, so who knows. I think Howe is much better than Maresca After that, I'd say it's us, Villa and Tottenham. We all have Europe. If we can get our attack going and don't struggle without Hall/Tino, I'm hoping we can get to 65 points or so with good cup runs and make it
-
Definitely stacked for this season, but we will need 1/2 CB's in the next 1/2 years
-
Anyone else think that Guehi is a very good player, but not Madrid/Liverpool/Man City good?
-
Welcome I'm supposed Brighton or one of the elite, cheap talent spotting clubs didn't get him before he exploded last season
