    Alexander Isak

I have seen a video where it sounds / looks like Van Disney says 'see you in pre season' or something like that to Isak
  2. Literally. We looked like seasoned cup winners, like we'd been in many finals before already Amazing performance around, always thought PSG at home would be my favourite / go back to and watch game but now this is by far
  3. Is there anyway of watching the full game on TV? There's 30 min highlights on ITVX, but wanting to watch the full thing
  4. Haha, sure Burnley are super possession based so no chance he'd go there Tbh I am a massive fan of Pope, would rather have him and a Trafford, than Trafford and Dubs, just seems too weak (until Trafford proves himself, even assuming we sign him!) Though Pope needs to find form
  5. Would also think Pope would be on the dream list of an Everton team. If he can establish some form, he'd be the perfect keeper for the low block, brexit style of play
  6. I know he's slow as a snail, but I feel his game doesn't revolve around his athleticism so much, compared to a Joelinton etc Can see him being a bit like Gundogan in style, and going for a while longer. But who knows, he could do a Casemiro or be a Thiago Silva But I'd agree next summer will be the last time we can command a big fee for him
  7. I know what you mean that this summer / next summer will be the last chance to get a big fee from him, but he's got years left performing at a high level for sure
  8. Konate injured or just cramp / knackered?
  9. Would you rather win the Premier League or the Champions League? What's the bigger achievement? I think for each club it's probably different, e.g for City and Bayern, winning the CL probably does them better since they have recently dominated their leagues. Whereas for Madrid, their CL dominance is their standout achievement etc For me though it would 100% be the Premier League
  10. Do we want a Liverpool win or lose after a gruelling 90 mins and extra time? Feel like wanting them to lose and be deflated would be best for us, but then worry they'd fireback with vengeance against us to get their first trophy and to get rid of any CL disappointment
  11. I'm really hoping it's RW, RCB, and GK minimum, not including departures (though we deffo will see a departure at GK I'm sure) Then recruitment at full back, CM, and front line depending on what we do with Trips/Target, Willock/Longstaff, Barnes/Wilson etc
  12. One of the (many) flaws of FFP that isn't spoke about as much. Buying these old heads/CL experienced players doesn't happen often to teams like us as relale value is so important

    James Trafford

That loophole was closed ages ago, contracts are amortisised over 5 years maximum I think the only benefit of what Chelsea do for them, is that they can pay players lower wages over a longer time, so players are more inclined to sign with them in some circumstances
  14. Yeah, I'm pretty jealous ngl. Great for the club, fans and for the FFP gods
  15. Could the 1 year extension be a way for us to get a fee from a Saudi club rather than him leaving on a free? Just thinking wouldn't he rather a 2 year plus contract in Saudi on more money, rather than 1 more year with us (footballing reasons aside 😂)
  16. I'd much rather have Pope than Dubravka as our number 2. Better shot stopper, sweeper keeper, 4 years younger, didn't leave to man u etc etc. Though I do appreciate what Dubs gives us by with the ball at his feet Thats assuming we buy a keeper in the summer, which is essential for me imo
  17. Yeah both good points I guess for Huijsen it would come down to, would the FFP benefit have outweighed the squad management risks Clearly we didn't think so, anyway. (Guehi goggles)
  18. I still think there is value, especially in this instance If we bought him like Bournemouth and sold him with the release clause, it would still be £40m or so profit compared to the nothing we got for not doing it I know what you mean that we don't want to lose players for way under their value, but with the small fee for him, it'd be worth it imo
  19. I assumed we'd target a more mobile RCB, one who can push up / follow his man into midfield and has recovery pace From the very little I've seen of Huijsen, he reminds me of Botman
  20. Imo Liverpool, Arsenal, City and Chelsea (on paper) have better first 11 and squads compared to us I think we have better first 11 and squad than Bournemouth, Forest, Brighton and Man U I don't think there's much between us and Villa, I think we have the better 11 but they probably have better squad depth I'd take our 11 / squad over Tottenham's too tbh
  21. Yeah, just done a Google to confirm it
