My earlier point about Macalister - fouls Silva and then dives 20 yards up the pitch from a slight touch.

Helpful for us for the weekend this, but need Ortega to play a blinder now so the cunts don’t go on to win.

I’m interested to see what Eddie and co have done with a year of Sandro on the training ground. He’ll be used to our press and hopefully fits into that defensive role allowing Bruno to play more forward like he did against Forest.

Van Dijk is a great player, but I just can’t stand him. A bit like Gordon before he joined us. If we’d signed him, I’d probably love him to bits. As it is, I love seeing him get beaten. Macalister though is just a dirty player and I don’t see what it is he adds other than diving, cards and a complete inability to tackle without fouling.

Nunez is just poor. Yet another totally unlikable Liverpool player. Suarez, Jota, MacAllister, Nunez, Van Dick, the list goes on and on.

But none of them have been anything like convincing. Brighton lucky, West Han struggled to a draw at home to club in 20th, Wolves lose Neto to injury again… All we have to do is get a win tomorrow and everything changes. Our run in looks the easiest, depending on cup result.

We miss someone breaking up play in the midfield. If Sandro can bring that, I agree this is a good three. Being able to rotate Big Joe through there will help keep everyone fit and give us options though.

Bound to unlock some hate here, but I really don’t think Tripps is that great at direct free kicks. He can whip in great crosses, corners and floated indirects but straight up he rarely seems to get them on target. I love him to bits, and think he’s by far the best thing to happen to us since the takeover, but we need another option for direct FKs.

Time for changes at the break. Tripps and longy off, bring on Tino and Anderson.

Trips and Tino pushing up alongside Bruno and someone might be alright. Problem is that someone can’t be Longy or Miley on todays performance.
