apart from the final my favourite game this season was our second leg 2-0 win over Arsenal just the way we setup and played, aggressively going man for man with Botman in the team alongside Schar and Burn which surprised everyone as well as doing it on a big occasion, evening game where atmosphere seemed immense winning the cup makes looking back at the semi final even more special and meaningful now also so glad Botman got to play an important role by putting in a full 90 in both legs and this same Arsenal team could win the CL, making it even more impressive

I love watching this new PSG team, they're on another level to every team in the PL, probably only this Barca team have a chance of stopping them winning the CL also mostly forgiven them for last season's robbery in Paris as they did such a great job of softening up Liverpool for us in the final not a fan of them destroying competition in France etc but I do also really like how the atmosphere in Parc de Princes always seems electric

How Ekitike became Eintracht's latest star forward - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c75ddz24lvro remember we were so close to signing him but ended up with Isak so no complaints there, however seems like he has the potential to hit similar heights
-
they have it in them to do a smash and grab on us they're overdue a big result and despite their league position they still have some quality players so shouldn't be taken lightly that said we should be more up for it than them and pretty confident
-
with a game in hand! and it would be mathematically impossible for them to overtake us actually think they'll grind out a result, they're getting harder to beat and our home form still a bit off this season (clearly I'm still not over 95/96)
-
nufc.com saying concussion protocols will also rule him out of the MU game next week - is that correct?
-
Man City only put 2 past them at home so I wouldn't be expecting a big win, certainly not if they park the bus I'll be happy with any win, plenty of bigger upsets have happened so not taking anything for granted

I'd like to see Ange come out with another if all things were fair, equal and balanced rant spurs are a joke
-
Ourselves, Forest and Villa displacing Chelsea, Spurs and MU in the top 6 this season would be very satisfying Chelsea have been very poor since December, would be nice if Spurs could get a result for a change quite incredible how Spurs are 16 points behind us considering their financial superiority and notions of being a 'big 6' club (at least MU win trophies)
-
I said to myself before the final that if we won the cup I don't mind what happens the rest of the season, even if we were to lose every game so not gonna stress about this game, just gonna enjoy it, confident we'll get a result but if not will just rewatch the final

yep I think Gerrard would've taken us down -
I think we'll come unstuck against MU at home based on nothing really, but would be feckin sweet to do the double over them
-
such a natural leader and captain I recall quite a few here questioning the decision to give him the armband wonder if that's still the case? think he'll also get a statue some day and go down as one of the best signings in the club's history
-
but for this thread I'd be completely unaware of any speculation surrounding his future it's all tabloidy made up bollocks anyway surprised anyone bothers watching ssn better off tuning out and just savouring his performances and comments about loving life at Newcastle

still processing this we may well have better teams and win bigger trophies in the coming years, fingers crossed but whatever happens I think this team will go down as all-time favourites bringing home this trophy against all the odds with such a likable group of players and manager will take some beating
