  1. Laughable. Have they actually said specifically which bit of the goal they disagree with/why it shouldn't have been given yet? Fucking idiots.
  2. I was half expecting them to ask Arteta if he thought it was a goal it was taking so long

    Joelinton

I may need to rewatch to try and pinpoint the exact time I stopped shouting encouragement at the TV and just started laughing every time he absolutely monstered someone
  4. Some of his decisions at the end of that season were bizarre. He seemed to decide that it'd be easier for them to get CL football by finishing 4th than beating Frankfurt over 2 legs then Rangers/whoever the other semi-finalist was that year.
  5. Be surprised if this doesn't end up abandoned anyway because it kicks off in the stadium during the game. Seems to have been quite a bit of bother at games in France the last few years
  6. This mirrors how I felt, was right in front of the Leazes/Milburn corner flag. The first half almost felt like a load of our lot had given up after seeing the teamsheet and were just there to sit in reverence and enjoy watching City
  7. It's fucking lucky he's apparently okay as the videos on Twitter look like the ref's looking straight at him when he goes down with no-one around him and they just play on
  8. Money back as a free bet because the shit cunts can't get close enough to make 14 fouls?
  9. Things might get messy for him if Phillips gets on
  10. He's very basic isn't he, movement generally all in straight lines. He's a bit of "presence" and pace but that's it.
  11. There are few things more amusing than listening to Gary Neville sounding like he's delivering the eulogy at a funeral whenever these are getting taken apart
  12. Think I read Bournemouth is the earliest chance we'll see him, so probably won't until after the next international break
  13. Steve Howey told me all about trying to play centre forward
  14. The way the league is shaping up if Wolves finish 9th or 10th we'll look back and think that's a great point. If Wolves finish 14th then we should have beat them. All we can do is beat all the shite/bottom half. City lost there without Rodri, we've got a point with 20% - 25% of our squad missing, it's obviously not an easy place to go. We take the point and carry on.
  15. Lots of squad/transfer window talk in other threads, especially after games/Tonali's ban etc...this feels like the logical place to bring all those discussions together. From what I've seen and heard of Ashworth, he's big on being "opportunistic" if a player who fits where we want to go is available. Feels like we're all thinking it's time to have a mid- to long-term plan and stick to it, rather than change the plan and approach just because a player happens to become available.
  16. I actually said to my lad just after HT I wonder if the plan is to sack off the Carabao on Wednesday so not make too many changes tonight so we're fighting as fit as possible for Arsenal and Dortmund. Has to be the thinking
  17. Good point all things considered, mind the way Goodman and that other fucker were going on for most of the game you'd think we were a bang average side who've just burgled a smash and grab point at the Bernabeu after being battered for 90 minutes.
  18. I expect us to be under the pump for the first 20 - 25 minutes and then take over. Might need to come from behind but fancy us to win. 1-3.
  19. Cheers for the tip, didn't take long did it
  20. They are thick as shit. What a world they must inhabit where "opponents in a football match" means gossing on their supporters, kicking their heads in, or putting the bus windows through. Heaven forbid people get along and have a pint with each other and a bit of craic. Fucking retards.
  21. With it "only" being a ban from competitive football, you'd think we'll keep him ticking over well enough as we'll probably go to Saudi in January during the break and play a couple of games, same in February where there's usually a gap if we're out of the cup, and again do something during the March international break, then it's end of season and a normal pre-season. Be interesting to see how Toney comes back but Tonali shouldn't be a million miles away from being able to come straight back in all guns blazing if he's still training.
  22. Toulouse fans sound exactly like PSG did at our place. Guess it's not just England where a good chunk of the chants are all the same. No clue what they're actually singing like so I may be talking total shite.
