The odd cup game when I was maybe 7/8 then went a lot when I was in my teens. My point is there's clearly a difference in the atmosphere and match day experience now it's becoming more family oriented, which is fine if that's the way they want to go with it but don't expect it not to effect the atmosphere.
-
There's nothing wrong with you doing that mate, hope you do and enjoy yourself. However my point was only relating to the atmosphere as that is what this thread is about.

People wanting to take young kids is one of the reasons the atmosphere is shite these days tbh. Going to the football was never meant to be a family day out.

Agreed think he would have really pushed on this season -
Beyond a joke for the fans in the ground especially.

Just out put the lines on the angles are irrelevant surley

Hate having to shout for Everton but daft not wanting them to win today.
-
He's just world class tbh not many in his position I'd swap for him for . 100million Enzo and Caicedo today? I wouldn't swap him for them both never mind either.
-
As If he's not getting an England call up

All you can ask for ❤️

Class performance and correct decision to play him on the left today although many on here were saying otherwise.

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

Get him back, our bench has looked pathetic at times lately. Can't see how he wouldn't be a positive option. -
Nah they're awful like. Guessing you've never been to Everton away?
-
Not sure how it's a joke of a decision tbh, they've gained an unfair footballing advantage over competitors so need a footballing punishment really. Everyone would do it otherwise? I'm sure our owners would have spent a lot more over the past few windows if it wasn't for FFP, that means we are at a disadvantage against clubs who aren't bothering to play by the rules.

Good to see Schar getting some mentions, think he's massively underrated outside of Newcastle fans. Not many id swap him for in the league tbh.
-
Honestly baffled by his inclusion. He was certainly talented but in no way a Newcastle great more of a missed opportunity and what could have been.
-
Nearly as hilarious as the Ben Arfa suggestions.

Think Livromento has looked the more competent defensively of the two lately tbh he'll do fine on the left and we can benefit from other aspects of Trippiers game on the right. Think he has a good understanding with Almiron also. -

Why? We'd benefit more from Trippier being on the right for crosses etc. -
Newcastle United 1-0 Arsenal (04/11/23) - Post match reaction from p. 46
WideopenMag replied to Yorkie's topic in Football
It's because they know games like that is why they won't win the title tbh. -
Ben Arfa ? fuck sake man. Hardly a NUFC great is he. More a what could have been.

It sounds like they actually decided to take the gamble though doesn't it, spend the money hope it pays off and they break into the champions league etc then they might have got the income to back up the spends. It didn't work and has back fired. Seems fair enough really.
