They’ll need play offs IMO, and unless Kean is fit and in form, no side should fear them because there’s just nothing in their attack. Then with all 3-5-2 / 3-4-3, if there’s no attack, you can pin them back easily.
-
Just looked, that season under ETH he played 400 prem minutes, which was LW/CF/RW and largely scrap minutes. Didn't start first 2, lost both, started next 3, won them, then dropped and that was it. Probably sums up ETH in fairness.
-
We've all seen his as much as each other since he's been at Forest. Have to take his youth time with a pinch of salt since it's one season of a cluster fuck that ended with Ragnick doing nowt and ETH, who does piss all coaching.
-
That Italy team is very stinky.
-
The low blocks doesn’t necessarily need technical players in the forward positions. Key to break them down is moving the ball quickly across midfield (technical upgrade on Joelinton more important IMO), and the runs from out to in, which Gordon / Barnes can do and Elanga would too.
-
Not going to get worked up over Elanga. End of day, him, a starting CB, then say Trafford GK and signing a CM, and we’re way stronger than last season. At an age where resale is there too if he takes the next step.
-
Only reason I can think of giving Wilson a contract (and we still sign someone who can play up front), is Osula going out on loan?
-
James McAtee is someone who if club have strong interest in, need to agree stance with player before Euros because he will attract interest afterwards, especially across Europe.
-
Can't wait for Pep to have him tucked in centrally, playing 5 yard passes to Rodri.
-
Barcelona offering £30m. Saudi to come in for £85m.
-
We could sell Miley for £30m and sign Matt O'Rilley as replacement. People probably big that up, but for me that literally doesn't lift the bar. Miley is a good player, we can keep him and still sign a good CM after selling Longstaff and Willock.
-
I really like Pope, but accept he's near broken and we can't be relying on him for a full season. All good being there 15 good games, but then if he's injured again which it'll be likely, it's Dubs. We've had the best out of him, got 2 UCL seasons and a cup. Forever thankful, but it's time to move on whilst opportunity for long term GK and a position sorted for next 7 years.
-
Neither will Delap at Chelsea. The added thing at us, there was a genuine chance he could play with Isak in games, at Chelsea it's one or the other under Maresca. Edit: Delap will be moving on in 12 months anyway, and that's the annoying part for me.
-
Doubt Miley wants out, but I do reckon his agent has leaked something to get him pushed up the pecking order from Miley saying something like “I should be ahead of Willock”. Sort of thing that gets clubs ears pricked up and forces them to show their hand. He should be 4th choice based on Willock output for ages now, and what Miley showed when he had an early breakthrough. If we signed someone like Hernandez, then we could move on Willock and Longstaff, still sign a CM, and have Miley getting strong minutes. Because Hall would be emergency 6th CM, with LB his priority position.
-
The signings they are making though at least should be useable under a new manager come November. Better off signing these then some shite from Portuguese league that Amorim would want.

Orny tweet incoming tonight or tomorrow IMO
-
Yea, nothing dodgy about that deal at all. Football really needs to clamp down on multiple ownership.
-
Yea, we won’t at all go backwards by having Barnes as main LW and needing to use Willock or Joelinton LW as back up If for some reason we sold Gordon for big money, we’d need to replace him for big money.
-
Agree with this all, and think it will be a revolving situation of what comes available and what offers come in that starts everything and dictates other deals.
-
Bet Roma can’t believe their luck at Sunderland getting promoted so they made a profit on Le Fee Feels he’ll be a horrendous player in Prem.
-
Need to fuck off Vlac first before sign more GKs.
-
I reckon it’s a smokescreen for Van Hecke.
-
This is when we need an Orny tweet tonight to further shit on the bald cunt.
-
Just like Delap, they will sign another GK. Just look at how many they’ve signed in recent seasons
-
And Chelsea are sniffing around Trafford
