Probably doing Mbemuo a disservice, but I don’t see much between him and Barnes, if both played consistently on their strongest wings. What we lack badly in the side in final third, is someone who can get ball on half turn in pockets, so whilst Mbeumo is strong output, I don’t think he moves us needle wise. Just be shifting goals around the team, and results staying the same with similar struggles in particular games. Ideally you sign both though, as Mbeumo can be 2nd striker too, so both him and Dibling are getting many minutes and starts across the season. But we can’t unless some wild new deals come in or Bruno goes for £100m.

But what we are seeing from Mbuemo, is that his peak? So either paying a premium to get something that’s a slight drop off, or back your scouting system /stats that says Dibling can match with more to his game to go on further. I’d say we’d get more out of Isak with Dibling in the side, then we would with Mbeumo.

Rashford is essentially the player profile that Man City signed in the 2010 to close the gap. Think if PSR was not a thing, we would be all over him like a Rash.

People go way overboard on the Rashford bashing. Top player, and would have him here if his wages was 50% less.

I think £85m with achievable add ons to take it to £100m+ is fair value IMO and a deal we should be looking to accept giving we need money to buy. Not sure what players they can offer in return to entice us. Even someone like Savinho who has the potential, I’d rather us target someone else and get the full Bruno fee. Would be a blow to lose him, but I feel out of Bruno and Isak, Isak is the one I’d want to keep at all costs. Pretty much the last window to get money for him, so makes sense we are open to offers. Feels £15m-£20m is a reasonable expectation. Do think he would be a very useful player for a lot of sides in bottom half of Prem, and for him, a chance to remain a regular in Prem on a nice final contract.

This was what I wanted last January and the consensus from people was we can't, because it'll impact qualifying for Europe Going to be same shit again. Just get rid of guys if any offers are there who are not considered first teamers come August 2025. No risk of going down, rather roll the dice of a thin squad and pack it out with limited youths in order to get rid of players ready for a fresh summer. Instead of rolling the dice and hope likes of Almiron make an impact that results in Europe.

Get's reduced after a period of time. Clubs could do that in contracts, but then they would miss out on players so it's never a thing.
