To be top 4 rank, even top 6 IMO, you have to be good with the ball and in tight spaces. Even as a defender. Likes of Joelinton not that, likes of Hall definitely that. We are far better than our current performances showing, but if we got a manager that insisted on playing through the lines/get ball on half turn, some of our players would be really bad quick.

One of the many Chelsea wingers.
-
This game will be pure goals as both sides can’t defend.
-
We’re still somehow only 5 points of 5th with 2 of the bottom 5 to play next We can’t keep letting chances slip.
-
Very funny after the wankathon their fans gave because they got him. Bet he’s been told the signings are going to be from Sporting / Amorim guys. And he’s thought fuck this, let’s leave already as the circus remains.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Sibierski replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
Need the new CEO in urgently. All well good club saying a lack of one won’t effect January plans, but it will. If there’s doubts about Howe for 25/26, then that’s going to impact January. -
Well, it was a daft amount of signings, plenty who are not there any more Nuno seems well suited to a job like Forest.

MGW so good.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Sibierski replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
Think he will be giving time because of the CEO situation and us likely going to SF of League Cup. Can't change a manager when direction isn't fully there at the highest level, but for him to stay for 25/26, he needs to hit some serious run in new year where the issues look to be fixed. Based on past 12 months, that's highly unlikely as the same issues are still clearly there. -
Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Sibierski replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
Don't think he's sacked during season, but decisions will be made that he's off end of season unless he plucks a cup out of his ass. I'd want us to try and get a top name if we mean business. Inzaghi would be my dream. -
West Ham repeated.
-
The goals will come, but it's the defensive side that's the issue. Can't keep conceding goals like we are, being open as we are, being as shit as a defensive unit as we are. Can score 4 away, and still not win. Proper Bournemouth under Howe stuff this, where it's great fun if you are aiming for 10-17 as a side, but we're not.

Bye Howe Been a pleasure.
-
Nice it came from a another utter shit set piece.
-
Lost that 5% and it shows hugely when in that middle battle of 6-12. Players just won't go that extra bit in routine games under Howe any more, but will in the big home games.
-
Such a common theme recently.
-
2 away clean sheets in league since Feb 2023. Just not sustainable long term.
-
Think we can start to draw conclusions that this side is fucked and lost it's way under Howe. Turning up for big home games they can do, string something together for all other games, we're lacking. And that's from the training ground and with the players mentality.
-
Just annoying. We done well first half, looked great, bar the usual missed chances and a sloppy mistake. Then 2nd half, and not for the first time this season, look off it. Another mistake and that's that. Something will give eventually as you can't be this consistently inconsistent when you have a full strength team near enough.
-
Barnes off, the goal threat you'd want in this situation?
-
So are the whole squad, then they end up still being key players till they need freezing out as we're seeing with Almiron.
-
One long ball Just please don't renew Schar contract.
-
He's 20 ffs Going to have some down spells.
-
And there’s the individual mistake. Can’t be going away from home and needing to score three to win. We just don’t look like ever improving collectively.
-
Tonali dropped after his performance is amazing. Then drops Gordon too after he finally delivers a performance it’ll be resting with league cup to come, but still.
