He’s literally dived in two feet at what 2/3 foot off the ground. It’s a red all day. It’s because it was such a weird tackle where his legs are so far apart it stopped it being a red. Think if Kudus though stayed down, VAR 100% would’ve stepped in. Don’t know why our fans are loving that challenge. It was idiotic and a symbolism of how he’s been this season, a mess. So often in games in final 10 we need composure, and it’s hard to in-still that he’s doing daft shit like that.

It was interesting when Schar score and they all celebrated in the corner, Gordon was there and specifically celebrated with Elanga and was giving him a talk, which felt like words of “You’re doing the right things, keep it going”. Think Gordon might be the one in the squad who has the arm around Elanga to coach him on the mental side.

Nope IMO. It’s just if one of those clubs are happy to move this summer and pay the premium, talking £70m+, they likely have a clean run and Anderson won’t ever turn one of them down to stay at Forest and hope we come next summer. As football is short, we could move on if form dipped / other targets better value, he could get a long term injury etc. I’d love him back, but think it will have to be £65m mark tops that sees us then walk away. Forest imploding and needing a sale next summer could help us, as even though he’s got long left, giving MGWs that new deal has probably killed off his future sale.

I trust Howe to have worked on something that will work, like the side the other year that was put out away to Man Utd looked so mixed on paper, but players executed their roles perfectly. Personnel wise isn’t what I’m concerned with, it’ll be the game plan and consistency. Hit and miss so far this season, but if if the midfield / attacked hooked up, Lascelles and Krafth in defence shouldn’t be an issue.

It’s hard when he’s won what he has, but Pep should’ve been strong armed to step aside. He showed no sign of correcting things last season, even after they spent a load in Jan. Same again this summer. Suppose Tixi going meant they felt Pep had to stay for some stability, but it’s going to do more damage as they sure as hell won’t be close to a title challenge again. Be in a proper fight for UCL.

Man City are still not a good side. Haaland goals covering a lot of issues defensively (and CM) that were there last season.

Bournemouth have got another gem in Kroupi ffs.

Ouattra is quite useful.

KDB proper tearing his hammy scoring a pen is peak ‘body is done’. Time to retire after World Cup IMO.

Think that’s being very generous. Not really a good plan to stay in 2nd gear and leave it level till 90th min. No margin for error for rest of game. It’s another much needed 3 points, but we need to hook up some goals / performances soon. 2 more wins is needed before international break, then the season starts proper where on paper in the 8 games up to New Year, Burnley is only side we face where you expect it to be comfortable. Rest will be proper slogs based on season to date.

The thing I’ve been most impressed with, they’ve not been battered once. Probably Man Utd away was only one. 7 goals conceded in 8 games is very impressive. We should be above them when we meet, and if we’re not, either we’re both top 4, or we’ve had a shocker.

This is why I didn’t want them to come up. Going to be insufferable unless we can beat them.
