3 CBs against one striker always feels shite. Especially when none of them are striding forward with the ball.
-
The PSG kick off only works if you then set up shape to force throw in to the defenders / to feet, not down the line
-
But let’s not go for another CM.
-
Ramsey fucked then as the adrenaline wore off at HT.
-
Hall and Barnes on for Trippier and one of the CBs. Need someone in final third who can actually striker a ball and be a goal threat. Then I would look to bring Elanga on for Murphy with 25 left.
-
Tino been immense again, but after Monday, summer and needing to get up and down all half so far, he likely needs a rest
-
Yea, nice lad but he’s not cut out for the prem.
-
Would think with Murphy crosses, he could take a corner with pace?
-
Why can’t we take any corners well ffs. No point getting a set piece coach when our fuckers seemingly can’t kick a ball when it’s a corner
-
What a dumb yellow
-
That’s been a few times in possession when we’re really deep, otherwise it’s 4-3-3 with the ball and Tino is high and Burn is in LB position. Vast majority of this half, burn is playing LB.
-
Yes. Don’t know why people are thinking he’s not if they’re watching the game.
-
Essentially a CM (in a 3) / CAM or LW if needed. Got Palmer for CAM, then Pedro. Won’t play in a deep two as that’s not his position. Then wingers they’re stacked with. Also got Buonottate (lol) in as well.
-
Another game where we’ve put in some proper good balls and there’s no striker on end of them/not been finished off.
-
Swear Osula was too busy wrestling the defender rather than just run across front post for a tap in.
-
€40m for Lopez Fuck off does that get accepted. And again, why the fuck do Chelsea need him?
-
Longstaff going to kill our midfield with his clumsy play.
-
Tino is pushed up high and LW, with Burn taking ball in LB.
-
Great pick out that by Ramsey.
-
That’s why Burn can’t be LB, playing hospital balls inside.
-
It’s going to be a tough watch. Osula looks every bit raw as you’d expect, Murphy being caught on the ball as usual and then you’ve got a RB at LW. Essentially need to slog our way to 60th min and not be behind, so we can then get Elanga / Barnes on.
-
Our attack does look championship stuff
-
Not sure about Burn being LB. Feels a set up that lacks any progress with ball.
-
Makes sense what Eddie said. Guess Elanga / Barnes aren’t as fresh after the stint needed Monday, but are massive game changers off bench with 30 to go. Hopefully we’re in front and they can thrive on counter.
-
We can’t lose to Longstaff starting.
