We’re a very poor side with the ball in that sense, which is strange for the players we have. Doesn’t help options are far apart. Just watch each time Bruno has the ball. It’s different when we have ball in final third, but other 2 thirds it’s so bad.
-
Like there, what the fuck was that. Southgate stuff going long when there’s options.
-
Considering we have our main three CMs, Isak, Trippier and Hall playing, I would like to see us be far better with the ball to control tempo. Too often we just see Bruno on his own, and it leads to chaos ball which is no good away more often than not.

Midfield seem sharper with the ball tonight and their movement.

As much as I love Willock, we need to cash in on him. Just can't stay fit man
-
ffs Willock. Don't be injured again.
-
Buzzing to have him back. Just got an aura about him warming up.

Time to get that transfer request in Guehi.
-
If accept Trippier is off this window and can get a move, then we would need to replace, and Simakan and Guehi would be future proofing, with only a need to keep one of Burn/Schar beyond this season depending on who is happy as a back up option on one year deal. Tino, Simakan Guehi, Botman, + one of Burn/Schar Hall, Kelly The latter two for full backs can play CB, and that's a reasonable collection of players. New serbian guy progresses, aim to take over Burn/Schar for 26/27 season. Positivity.
-
Why not Simikan and Guehi

Bullet head, assist, as we win 4-1. Then off to England squad where he does his hammy and we don't see him again till late November.

Hopefully the long term dealings with Palace put us in a good position to make Wharton the marquee signing next summer
-
Probably even harder to speculate for certainty what position/pressure Howe is under, as we don't really know what remit Mitchell has been bought in for. Just as much chance IMO, if this window hasn't gone to plan, and Howe is getting us back around the top 6 mix with Almiron/Murphy/Krafth/Longstaff getting plenty of minutes, he has more backing than a new DoF who wasn't even number 1 choice this summer. With Palace getting new owners possibly, it may make Freedman be revisited, rather than change the manager.

Has there been any news on what the amount we were over by? Like if we knew from quite early on around start of May, we needed to raise say £10m. Were there no clubs no where, that would take Anderson for that value with a buy back at £25m or something? Instead, ending up right to the wire, where we had to work with Forest to help them, which bumped fees up artificially. Anderson at £10m would be a great deal for so many clubs. Or was we like £25m+ over, in which case, WTF were we doing to get that far over and what was we hoping to happen?

Best follow up the email, with importance symbol, to get it to the top of the email list.

Feels Forest got better deal long term. They loan Anderson out to Championship, has a season as most of us would expect, he’s a £20m+ sale and they make a profit. We are left with a Greek guy who’s probably going to go on countless loans, with us likely paying some of the wages most of the time
-
Man Utd spent like £5m signing him though
-
Could say gap growing by likes of Longstaff / Almiron / Murphy etc. we’ve got the peak out of them. Whilst Gravenberch, Szob etc. are developing further for them.

Is this any dissimilar to Kane to Man City other season? Where Kane was all ready for a move, clubs in talks, seemed it would happen, but clubs could never get close to agreement on fee. Seen it a few times, whilst no where near the being the norm, a player agreeing terms with his number one club, but then either that deal not happening or player needing to go elsewhere because a different club has matched the fee. Why I can’t side on optimism till I see Orny slam that tweet.
