  1. We can’t get Napoli from this pot anymore, so that’s a blessing if we don’t want hard games.
  2. Like we could’ve got one of the Italian sides and Atleitco who are loads harder.
  3. ETH away and Benfica H is fine for pot 2. Can’t handle that, we should never qualify again.
  4. Should be 3 points. Take that for a pot 2 side at home.
  5. Between us and Spurs potentially for Kairat away
  6. Atalanta H and German side A from this please
  7. Hopefully Barcelona game is our first home one so atmosphere is peak stuff like it was against PSG.
  8. More goals by same age, more experienced player, and he was shite. Who was the last German attacker to be a standout success in England? All seem to be shite when moving over.
  9. How much will Woltmeade be? Because he literally has one top flight season and he’s 23 going 24 this season Can’t be more than £30m surely?
  10. Watch palace game and come back at 5:30 guys.
  11. Talking about Chelsea winning conference league after spending billions
  12. If Gordon ended up being Wilson replacement, surely we'd need a LW in then? As we are then just spreading ourselves thin in another position, where the drop off from Barnes to whoever (if Gordon was needed to lead the line due to an injury to Isak/whoever is his replacement). Even if it was then logic of Ramsey/Willock filling LW, then we need another CM as we spread ourselves thin there. All has a knock on which needs addressing or we go into season severly light, which is already going to be tested 3 games into the season Not even got to October/November where we will be fighting on 3 competition fronts every few days.
  13. Is the Isak situation though driving up 2nd striker options? Or are we just slow moving on targets, not casting net far enough for Wilson replacement? If all we've been after have been as Wilson replacements, it's gone. Delap > Pedro > Etitike > Wissa > Sesko > Wissa > Larsen > Larsen Isak isn't helping current striker situation, but doesn't feel he can be blamed for not getting any striker at all?
  14. Bit like how the noise died down after the early March run (Ipswich win, Arsenal draw, Leicester win, mixed in with 2 good displays against Soceidad). Which was then followed by no league wins in 8. How often is the cunt squad going to be rolled out as a defence of the manager though. Guy when he took over had Rashford, Antony and Garnacho in the cunt stakes if that's what we're going with. Two were bombed out in Jan and had no part ever since, then Garnancho played loads and only went into cunt squad list because of his fall out from the Europa final Everyone else are like new players from recent times. Can't be using that as a reason for the rot is deep, or you are effectively saying another squad needs blowing up. Is Hojlund now part of the cunt squad? Ugarte, Dalot etc. all too because they're not good enough? I admire the optimisim and dedication, and long may it continue. Because the longer he stays there with his negative attitude, the more damage it does and the longer it will hold Man Utd back.
  15. Divock Origi been linked yet?
  16. It’s going to end up being Vardy being signed after the deadline closes isn’t it? Larsen / Wissa are the ones we’ve tried and are not firmly in “OTT price premium for what you get’. Others we haven’t made formal moves for but are prem based now are: Watkins / Bowen. Right at upper age, would cost £60m minimum where bids are likely rejected anyway. Jackson / Solanke. Middling range, where £50m+ could get them but would be unbelievable underwhelming. Hojlund. Low cost compared to all others and younger, but broken currently as a player. Outside that, it’s down to signing a winger that could do a job upfront, and aim for a fluid front three.
  17. Not particuarly. PSG were top pot last season and ended with: Pot 1 Bayern (A), Man City (H) Pot 2 Atletico (H), Arsenal (A) Pot 3 PSV (H), RB Salzburg (A) Pot 4 Girona (H), Stuggart (A) Just when you are one of the top sides, you should back yourselves to get 12 points from 3/4, or at worse 10 points and win one of your home games against 1/2 and 13 points will always take you through.
  18. Think it's more refirming to Isak, that if the move doesn't happen, don't expect to walk back in on the back of an apology. You are going to have bust your gut, and raise your game above last season if you want to play (as hopefully we have a new striker who will take the number 9 and be starting). Also helps reinforce the culture with rest of squad that sees performances like we did on Monday. If we are injury free, Howe mentality and his development as a coach and how it translates to our players, is why I'd believe we can go deep in UCL. We shown against the league champions now that we can beat them in a final, and still go toe to toe with 10 men at home, against Arsenal (who have been one of the most consistent domestic sides for past three seasons) we can do a job over 2 legs against them, which reinforces we shouldn't fear anyone in UCL. Then when it gets to those games in knockouts, we have nothing to lose which will help further against the top sides.
  19. You only play 2 from each pot and only 2 from each country, so looking at the pots it's going to be very hard to get a really difficult draw. So from Pot 1, you want the best for the experiences IMO. Dortmund (H) PSG (A) Or the other way round would be so shit. Chances we could get 1 point at best, and it's games been and done before.
  20. Puts Ramsey fee into perspective. Fernandes looks like he could develop into a talent, but that's still a massive fee.
  21. General consenus from most then is Real Madrid please at home for the top tier heavyweight clash, and a memorable night that can be up there with PSG game. Then others from 2-3 pots, sides that will bring good collection of fans for a good atmosphere, and Kairat at home so it's a proper 3 point banker that will help us.
  22. If we really wanted Jackson, we'd have made an initial play by now.
  23. Garnacho is £35m. Rashford could be £30m (or they’ll try and push for less and subsidise some wages), Mainoo may have to be sold for £40m, that’s all then pure book that enables the next wave of spending and the proper final roll of the dice.
