I would argue it's not really shoehorned if he's at CB. He was excellent at LCB and was called up to the national team on merit. Think his perceived value has taken a hit because of his extended stint at LB which just doesn't really work any more. We desperately need fullback cover in the Jan window if Howe will not try A. Murphy there. Here's hoping to Ramsdale though.
