Fair play lad. He's done the business tonight.

Every pass this beautiful cunt plays is lush.

Thank fuck. Sadly it's only a matter of time before this shite repeats. Too much US money and ownership across football these days and they do not give a single fuck about anything but profit.

The post match was fairly interesting (as far as they can be) yesterday. Eddie was very clear on disappointment from the result, specifically how loose (wasteful) we were with the ball, and the lack of output from everyone bar Wolte. When prompted on subs/Miley he was fairly complimentary saying he brought composure on-the-ball that we needed. I can't disagree and I wonder if this may be the beginning of a run of fixtures for wor Miley. Personally I hope so. One of my biggest frustrations this season has been this lack of composure, we're so often just punting the ball for no good reason and it invites so much pressure alongside stifling our offense. This happened in the Forest game but we held on and then picked up in the 2nd half. I said as much at the time (spoilered below as this is already a long post). I think we're currently trying to transition to a more possession-based team. Woltemade fits that style with his link-up and our famous intensity is basically nonexistent for the most part; I do wonder once Wissa is fit and firing if we'll try to play both styles to provide tactical depth. As it stands I think the players, especially midfield, wingers and to some extent fullbacks (although fair mitigation for Burn playing out-of-position) are struggling with the aforementioned change in setup and for form generally. I don't really see how much blame can be levelled at Eddie. These are talented players and should be able to adjust, and I believe it's them letting down Eddie and not poor coaching. Obviously just my opinion. Here's hoping for a good midweek UCL performance as we need confidence and momentum.

Aye. Perhaps his weakest game for us? Didn't really impact the game meaningfully and was a pretty sloppy first half (as was the entire midfield). He's earnt a bit of slack so fair dos, expect he'll be up for it for Benfica at home.

Proper monkey's paw with these cunts. Bought Burn and got us the Carabao cup and in return we just cannae do it vs Brighton.
-
Similar possession but we've done fuck all but be wasteful. Really sloppy, hope Eddie can wake us up at halftime.

We need 2 wins from our next 3 league games to be on even points to what we were last season; 15 points by gameweek 10. Considering we've got UCL to contend with too, I'd be happy with that. Definitely doable vs Brighton, Fulham and West Ham.

Almost all celebrations are shite. Love Wolte so far but that finger W is goofy as fuck. Yes we know your surname starts with a W. Realistically though who cares, it's all a bit meaningless and if we're seeing celebrations then that means they're banging them in. Happy days.

Romantic type you say? Bed in and enjoy him?

Just guesswork and reading vibes but Wolte honestly seems like a canny lad. Obviously, interviews are basically curated/PR to an extent but I don't get the feeling he'd stoop so low to refuse to play, even if he didn't fall in love akin to Bruno. Fella didn't make a meal of a genuine elbow to the face, and seemed to be principled in his response on-field and after. I respect that, and I think respect/principles are something he seems to value too.

That's tier 1 Northeast journo Mr Chipp to you

Any source for this or just guessing to stir the pot?

Everyone knows Scholes knows fuck-all about football. Tonali isn't very good and with his betting past no one should ever risk buying him...
-
Pure unadulterated filth that like. It's almost hard to believe he intended to hit it that sweet. Hate getting my hopes too high on a player but it's difficult not to with Wolte. Christ

That the one in Whitley? Been a long time for me but remember the Sunday roast being bangin
