I agree. All the sounds from the player are positive which is another big battle won. I've got faith in this happening. Usually you can sense when its bullshit, but this one feels more likely.

Dont believe the Liverpool story for a second. Nothing to back that up, I just have a gut feel for it. Could be wrong.

The worst Newcastle player you've seen in a match

Here comes the wet knicker brigade overusing the term "worrying"... -
Good point. Although not sure what Guehi's status is off these shores but having high profile players is certainly a strategy for brand growth.
-
Maybe we've realised Murphy is the best RW in world football and we're throwing all our budget at Guehi
-
Think it will be £50-55m plus add-ons for whoever gets him
-
If rumours of his current contract ending in 2026 are true then this makes so much sense for us. He's one of the 4 untouchables as far as I'm concerned.
-
I know we need to balance the books but I hope we get Gordon and Isak tied down to bigger long term deals. Its all gone quiet on Isak's new contract.
-
Sounds like we wont commit to that RW signing until we've unloaded a couple more high earners... my guess is Miggy and Tripps. Think it will go down to the deadline for us to get our man.
-
All for this provided we still sign a first choice RW.
-
We need some positive news... badly. It would pick us all up hugely. Mitchell, come on fella - show us what you can do.
-
Gordon's contract expires in 2026. If he's not signing a new one we'll have to sell him to maximise value.

Madueke scored and was mom last night in Chelsea's latest pre season friendly

Symbolises how much work there is to do. Despite some very top level marketing supporting the 3rd kit launch while over there. Success will give us more fans overseas but it will take time. Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea have dominated the Asian market for years, it will take time to build a following. -
Sela are PIF owned. Related party sponsorships were never banned, just regulated. This deal is no indication either way.
-
Well all of these players improve us (including Madueke) but by varying amounts. Right now I'd accept any
-
Neto is an awesome player but there's doubts over his injury record. Mbuemo is decent but would cost £10-15m more than Madueke. Raphina was my dream signing but its never going to happen.

Yes. He's getting one apparently... -
Fair. Who would you go for realistically that would come? Neto, Gonzalez?
-
Weird how we all see the same differently. I do see Madueke as an Eddie player and one that will flourish under his coaching. Only 22 as well so loads of development time. I think he'd be a great signing for us and him and Gordon running at defences as we transition would be terrifying for opposition defences.
-
8 goals in 34 appearances last season. Considered by their fans to be one of the reasons their form improved in 2nd half of last season. I would say he's easily worth £40m in todays inflated valuations
-
Totally agree. Reading the Chelsea forum they reckon he looks lost under Maresca's tactics so that might encourage them even more to move him on. You can imagine he's a player that will look immense under Eddie.
