We're simply not very good

This is a really interesting read, perhaps why an all singing, all dancing stadium isn't necessary in Newcastle? We could fill regular seats sure, but if the name of the game is corporate sales then we don't have the demand for that (yet). I think that will take years of "brand building" to achieve - alongside more silverware and a consistent run of successive years in the champs lge. This will likely be what creates tourist demand.

This guy needs a couple of goals and I think he'll go on a run. Seems a confidence player.

I love Eddie, but he's under pressure now (not because of yesterdays result), because this season has been awful. The wins (when they've fleetingly come) have been the exception to the rule. Gone are the patterns of play we had a couple of seasons ago. Gone is the intensity. Is this symptomatic of what happens to an Eddie team (i.e. they burn out physically after 2/3 seasons)? This might be part of it, but some questionable recruitment added to some hopeless football played this season makes you wonder what's going on.

Both teams should be in stripes for the derby games (I know some will find it confusing, but its black and white vs red and white). All the derbies I grew up with that was how it was. Frustratingly we're in the blue kit on Sunday.

Willocks been much better lately, back to charging forward at pace and driving us up the pitch. Arguably he's been far more effective than Ramsey this season who looks lightweight by comparison. Be sad to see him go in current form.

We love conceding late goals this season.
