  1. Isak was a Šeško we got a free run at.
  2. By creative, do you mean a foreign striker none of us have heard of? I get the appeal of an unheralded gem, but whoever we get has to be able to score in the premier league/champions league. We can’t do a hall style be ready in 12 months thing.
  3. I’d back Howe to get more out of almost any Chelsea player because he’s fundamentally a better manager than Maresca. We will end up paying more because Jackson is “proven” in the premier league now versus when Chelsea bought him so +£. id much rather have the miracle of a reintegrated Isak and Wissa for the season though.
  4. No way to really know, I didn’t think Eddie could turn Murphy into an assist machine. I’d sooner have Jackson than a guy like Hoiland who is never even in the right place to miss.
  5. Man, none of us are thrilled at the prospect of Jackson but to say he’s bombed is ridiculous. He’s erratic but 1 in 3 is not bombing and he made a lot of opportunities for Palmer. if it comes to it, Eddie will get more out of him
  6. I guess no matter how much he “only wants Liverpool” you’d be banking on Isak having a little human decency and respect for Howe to show up and train until something else happens.
  7. It doesn’t exactly take a rocket scientist. It was widely reported he returned to Newcastle from Spain and Eddie is back also.
  8. Howe would go for AG up front in an important game ahead of Osula. If it wasn’t for the striker crisis I think sending Osula on loan would have been the thing to try.
  9. They must, once again, be told to go fuck themselves.
  10. Are Liverpool coming back with a real offer so?
  11. Well they’re very different. But if Paqueta is judged on creative output his numbers at West Ham are nothing stellar. 12 goals, and 9 assists across 92 appearances. Obviously there’s more to it than that, but still, based on the hype I’d expected more.
  12. Yeah I can see that. A “playmaker” to help break down the low block, something we struggled with last season. We don’t seem to ever get linked to such players though.
  13. In place of who? Joelinton? Well agree to disagree.
  14. I mean he wouldn’t get into our best side. hes highly rated on here, clearly, but I can’t see it certainly not at that price.
  15. 50M on Paqueta when we desperately need two strikers and a centre back, no thanks. He wouldn’t even start for us.
  16. Yeah scoring 19 is easy playing for the creative might of Brentford.
  17. He can’t be sold until the replacements arrive and given the way that is going…
  18. A dream target? Dear lord This would suggest Man U don’t have the money though.
  19. I’d love to know what our actual pitch to players is. I’d have a slide deck of all the players Man U and Chelsea have ruined at the ready that’s for sure.
  20. He was great in that first surge to the champions league too tbf, that assist for some Swedish striker I can’t remember was iconic.
  21. I really naively thought Man U were done as a force for the foreseeable future after last seasons shit show. But there’s still a limitless supply of greedy, myopic players who can’t wait to be next in line to ruin their careers. meanwhile we can’t afford even one dud singing.
  22. Chelsea have the right idea with big money foreign flops. Just ship them off to KSA no matter how fucking useless they’ve been .
  23. Osula needs to be firmly third choice going into this season or we are cooked.
