My reading: “some” believe in the here and now that we are worse off as an 11 sans the rat. It’s hard to argue. Let’s all hope Woltemade will be an even better fit but we’ll probably need to be patient.
-
Is it not self evident? We lost a world class player. The squad is better, the team is worse. Hopefully over time that will change.
-
I think that’s because he’s demonstrated next to nothing in his career to date, unlike Big Nick. Look we’d all love you to be right!
-
He’s clearly a bit of a character, and I think that’s a really positive thing. I like forwards with a bit of swagger. He’s already communicated more discernible personality than the other guy did in three years here.
-
At least we know there’s a market for him, even at his current level.
-
Can’t believe we didn’t take the money (any money) for him.
-
Miles off what? We were more than a match for Liverpool a few days ago with 10 men.
-
It’s a moon. He drove in the night.
-
Did you see him in preseason? He’s still miles away from this level.
-
Ah c’mon man. He was so bad against Leeds. This is way beyond his current worth.
-
We needed a third striker because of Wilson. We don’t need one now. Maybe Neave can get a chance against Bradford.
-
Can’t get rid of Willock without a replacement. loaning Murphy makes zero sense. this day is crazy man.
-
WTF. Insane money. And for all his fans on here, a buyback on the off chance he makes it! Everbody happy, Class deal.
-
I agree, but Woltemade is our close the gap player (in time) and Wissa keeps us up there with depth we’ve never known in that position.
-
He was excellent, maybe revisit the highlights I dunno what to tell you. Gordon’s red card could have scuppered our chances, Harvey stepped up.
-
At yes the Harvey Barnes who paid a pivotal role in the cup final win, what a disaster. Wissa will do great here and prove to be far better than his detractors realise.
-
We’ve virtually never had 2 good fit strikers in Howe’s time here, barring that one little spell with Wilson and Ballsak. I’m really excited to see what Howe can do with this setup.
-
That’s the spirit.
-
He’s at Roma now
-
Our current offer for a 29 year old is reasonable. Probably slightly above his market value. Brentford shouldn’t have told him he could leave at the start of the summer in writing if they really think they can’t survive without him
-
I’m expecting the wingers to be rotated regularly, surely that’s the point of the squad. It’s not the same as being dropped.
-
Taking it at face value, Wissa had a written agreement he could leave, Isak had nothing of the sort. It’s a very different situation.
