  1. I agree with all but Tripps. As good as Murphy was last season and I do think he’s class, realistically we may have missed our chance to shift him on for decent money. He’s 30 and won’t be hitting the same goal contributions as last season. Similar to when Miggy’s purple patch really. Willock’s been pretty toilet for while now. The drop off when he comes on is mental. At this point I’d take anything we could get for him, he’s not going to get a run in the squad long enough to deal with whatever issues he’s had for the last few seasons. Barnes is a weird one, usually takes a run of games to get going, but I just think his all round game aside from scoring the occasional banger is a bit meh. So far this season whichever right back he’s been up against has been relatively comfortable. There’s no real resale value in Trippier, might as well keep hold of him. Especially since he’s so influential behind the scenes and once Lewis Hall gets more game time, inevitable that him and Tino will be our started full-backs. Ideally he transitions to a coaching role with us once he’s finished playing.
  2. Well that was fucking grim watching like. Sean has more than a rough of our idea of how our midfield functions, and just seemed they had our number all game ie doubling/tripling up on Bruno, they worked hard as well an won more duels from what I saw. The midfield not controlling the game stopped all creativity. Fair play to Longstaff though, great day for him, neither Newcastle or Leeds got beat and he won MotM, bet he’s buzzing.
  3. Please tell me there’s a video of this out there 😂
  4. Can’t fault the lads (Except Gordon obviously) grafted their cunts off. To be able to take on these Scouse fuckers who are allegedly light years ahead of us with ten men shows how class we are. The club need to sort out the striker situation and we can have a cracking season like. Beyond gutted.
  5. But can he can he simultaneously stack it and score a worldie from the half way line against PSG? 😂
  6. It’s alright we’ve got Schar for that anyway 😂
  7. Fair one thought we at least have to chuck in some Hydrocortisone, Andy Howe masterclass!
  8. £35 million is about right, Howe could probably coach some of the mentalness out of him and he’d potentially have some sell-on value. Eighty fucking million. Unbelievable. Might as well burn it.
  9. Brentford aye, what I mean is after 2 seasons we could (hopefully) move him on and recoup some of that.
  10. Just fucking shut the window now man.
  11. If he bangs them in for 2 seasons a newly promoted club will 100% take him for £20 million or so. We may lose out financially on paper but if he’s the difference between getting further in ECL or qualifying for Europe next year than that will make up for it surely.
  12. Imagine going on a night out with this fucker…. ”Should I shag that blonde over there… or that dark haired lass in the dress…. Or…. Why are the lights on? Why’s everyone leaving?”
  13. Considering Isak is fucked after 60 minutes he’d be playing quite a bit, plus early rounds of carabao and FA and some of the “easier” champions league ties; he’d play a shit load. Probably similar to how much game time Wilson got the season 22/23 with champions league on top.
  14. No expert on PSR by any stretch but surely this can be made to work in our favour, buy in for £35 million; couple of good seasons and then shifted on to a newly promoted club for £25ish million?
  15. Not to mention glamorous Ebchester… Once home to one Darren Ambrose.
  16. Got an image of that scene from Gladiator where Oliver Reed’s Proximo is assessing the quality of the gladiators except it’s Amorim and our goalkeepers.
  17. Depth mate, the goalkeeping department has been hanging out for a fresh face for a good 12 months now, and with potentially 60+ odd games this season they need blokes to stay back to organise the Christmas piss-up.
  18. So their turnover must be literally ten times ours right? Talk about deluded.
  19. Didn’t watch but sounds like the lads had a good run out, good to see Elanga on the scoresheet too and at least it wasn’t a completely embarrassing scoreline.
