Anyone seen Woltemade play? 4 in 2 games in the u21s, 6 foot 6 according to Google and a decent goalscoring season for Stuttgart. Edit: Linked with Chelsea. Of course he is.
-
More than fair opening bid if true. £45m plus add-ons I reckon.
-
Guess that's the nature of Brighton's policy. Just a hip version of Ashley. Arrive cheap with the promise after a few years you can go to a big club. Rinse and repeat. No ambition.
-
Nah, you'd think it was the end of the world on here last June-September. We won a cup & qualified for CL. Very definition of bedwetting.
-
Aye, just a family having a good time. People can be such shits.
-
Could argue end of season really. A lot of pants pissing last summer when we didn't turn to a different defender after Guehi or sign an RW, but end of the day we achieved our goals and haven't spent money on someone we didn't particularly want.
-
Aye, if you're going to have an industry that generates this much money, the players deserve the bulk of it.
-
And nurses.
-
They'd get about £40m for Kulusevski you'd think? Think they'd be fine.
-
One of the only worries about signing a top player from a mid-table team is that the old team might fit their game around its star, which the new club won't do. I think him going back under Frank will pretty much guarantee he just follows what he's been doing. Annoying.
-
They'll be a nuisance again next season. Can see 2-3 teams clear at the top then a group of 5-6 with little between them.
-
Look what it did for Gordon two years ago.
-
Think it's good for his international career. Getting used to being away for a month in that sort of environment, different type of training, getting used to playing different ways of playing every few days. Don't think it particularly benefits us, though. Like you I'd sooner he'd just played the last 2 senior games then off for 3-4 weeks.
-
One of the players I thought would be an ideal and cheap upgrade to 4th to 6th choice midfielders Ndidi, linked with Man Utd for £9m. I'd have seriously been looking at him thinking he'd hold his own in a better side with quality midfielders around him.
-
Numberwise we're full. Those are the 3 areas where there's an obvious first-team upgrade. After that it'll be something like Willock out, replacement in.
-
Guehi, Trafford, Elanga, then one in, one out with squad players.
-
Which signings have they been linked with other than Henderson? Seen nowt.
-
Like quite a number of those who've passed their tickets on for years to build up their totals?
-
What would be your thoughts if we were signing a 30+ goal kid from the Championship, over maybe a striker who scored 10-12 in the PL but whose hold up play was shite?
-
£40-50k a week just being frittered away. Can't blame him for not walking away like, his next contract will be about 1/10th of this one.
-
Outside looking in it would seem a crazy choice. If they got 90 points again next season they'll probably go up.
-
If Villa can't afford him due to PSR, I could imagine Spurs signing Grealish possibly even just on loan. They've struggled in that position since Son has dropped off the last year.
-
That is so Milan.
-
Thought you were talking about Joelinton there. Just the old drink-driving ban rather than crashing though.
-
The likes of Brighton probably wouldn't either. What mugs will pay £80-100m for the odd star if the ones in massive debt won't?
