It's more that they've spent all of that money and choose to play this way, and they play this ugly football whether it's PSG in the Champions League Final or if it's Burnley at home. Obviously they naturally have more of the ball and create more chances against the shite teams playing the same way but it's the worst "big" team I've seen in my lifetime.

And then assuming it just kicks the can down the road by eating into future budgets anyway.

How would it work in terms of what we'd have to spend this summer, if we agreed to sell Woltemade to Milan for £200m and we agreed to sign Leao from Milan for £200m?

He just feels like this era's Tomasson. He'll no doubt have a cracking career, just don't think the Premier League is for him.

N-O Goal of the Season 2025/26: Will Osula vs Man Utd
Optimistic Nut replied to Yorkie's topic in Football
Elanga's goal ridiculously underrated. Was pretty much on the touchline when he got the ball, beats 3 defenders and curls in with his swinger. -
Give him a year or two extension, sell next year for £30m when Gordon's replacement is up and running, and we can get a younger Barnes replacement. Would be crazy to sell this summer.

Chevalier worth another look?

Is that Ramos's normal level? Was one of the names people seemed to be touting about for us if we go for a new striker?
-
I definitely heard Fletch spout that however too.

They won and scored 4 according to the PL site? 0 conceded funnily enough.

Looking more at Arteta's tactics, you can tell he targets the ones that look a foul or an incident in real time, but that VAR wouldn't overturn. The goal up here, Gabriel clearly drags his leg backwards so it looks a foul by Joelinton but I doubt VAR would overturn it if the onfield ref gave a foul. Same with Madueke last night, I thought a pen in real time and I bet 9 times out of 10 he gets it normally from the onfield ref, where again it's not black or white enough for it to be overturned by VAR. Reckon if we take a close look at them they do this loads to win various free-kicks.

You can absolutely tell that he has them training on how to make a handball look accidental, how to win a foul, how to foul but get away with it. Thought it since the 1-0 win a couple of years ago the way he went on when Gabriel went down under Joelinton for the goal. His reaction was fucking ridiculous and it's because he'll have known 9 times out of 10 the refs would blow for a foul. It's rancid.

Just a shame City weren't able to nick the title.
-
Actually looking at his numbers, still scores around 1 in 3? I know Serie A doesn't have the depth of the Premier League but might just need something reawakened in him..

Reeks of Spurs or Chelsea.

Looks lush, can't wait to slop gravy down that.

Three 3rd choice keepers in the top 13? Shit list.
-
At best they'll become a Brighton/Bournemouth/Brentford, but luckily for them the worst they'll become is a yo-yo club.
-
This is the sad fact. For 4-5 clubs it's irrelevant.

Ranieri back at Leicester. Love that. Ah was just a Charity Match. Shame.
-
Ramsdale would have as well tbf. Comical shoot-out performance.
-
Really would have thought he'd have learned from the penalty up here. Such a stupid penalty in a game like that
-
Think they win the Champions League with Martinez in goal. Massive game player. Nothing in particular against Raya as he's been great.
