So good having a "try hard" grafter who's also a fucking quality footballer.
-
Seems a fair few games where it's not quite happening for him, then pops up like that to win a game. Think it says a lot about his character, he could have let that open goal in particular get to him but he kept going.
-
I can see Botman improving with form and time. I think Burn's at the end. Happy to see Schar & Thiaw start if yesterday is the standard but I think he should be next in line.
-
Agreed. His name is worthy of that category.
-
The finish for the second is superb.
-
I'd have had no complaints if it had been given. Foden has to take the shot early because Schar's diving in. Schar then gets nowhere near the ball and fouls him.
-
20 goals all comps in 37 starts & 44 sub apps. No doubt at all he'd have at least another 8-10 if he was first choice.

Not worried about the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth & Palace yet. If they're up there after 30 games like Forest were last season then aye. The big thing is we're keeping in touching distance of the likes of Villa, Man U & Spurs. You'd think the way the English clubs are doing in Europe that top 5 gets it again.

Yeah, weird one. He played in that 2-0 end of the first season with PIF and we ruined their midfield.
-
Ruben Neves linked with us & Man Utd for around £17m. Yes please.
-
Mainly due to fond memories of the promotion season though? If Puma or Castore had produced that during the Ashley reign it'd likely go down as our worst kit ever. Aesthetically, it was rank.
-
That Franca kid we were linked with a few years ago and ended up at Palace a good example. Barely played and now back in Brazil.
-
It'll be so people no longer say, "It could be Boro...or Stoke" in those Guess The Stadium picture quizzes.
-
Especially when they can just knock those out in the retro range anyway.
-
What a guy Craig Gordon is by the way. Was pretty much retired at 30 due to injuries, was doing punditry and helping coach Cowdenbeath before coming back after 2 years with no football. Had a double leg break at 40 year old and now looks like he could be number 1 during the World Cup at 43-years old. Unreal.
-
Can understand the Nations League maybe helping qualification to the Euros, but World Cup is a stretch.
-
.just looking at the teams they've beaten in that run, all within a few points of them as well so not like they're just twatting the fodder. Would be great if they could go up!
-
Hebburn flying @Paully. 5-0 win last night!
-
Have Napoli built their system around him?
-
He's be perfect as the third midfielder here. Shame.
-
Surely there's enough grafters in that side to accommodate Shankland man. Just a pure goalscorer.
-
Go some way to find 3 goals of that quality in one match like.

Poacher's goal.
