Hickey could be worth keeping an eye on if he's finally over his injury problems. Similar to Tino in that he's comfortable on both flanks.

I think 2 of Lascelles, Schar & Burn won't be here this time next year so we'll bring that down at CB..
-
Is it more likely we get a Trippier/Gamez -type? Someone cheap/free in their early 30s who are more likely to be happy with 10-12 apps a season for a couple of seasons.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

I'm not too arsed about keepers making a mistake or two if they're overall contributing to improving how we play and consistently performing well. Sanchez gets a fair bit of stick at Chelsea, but last season in terms of sweeping, crosses, kicking and shot-stopping he was in the top 5 keepers for each area statistically. That over 38 games will win us more points and help the way we play football. -
I hope Xhaka plays in the derby tbh. We'll batter him.

Get in.

Arsenal and Liverpool are neck & neck for the honour of most hated club, like. Would love Chelsea to do them here.

I know we were kings of it for a while, but keepers going down with a knock so the players can run to the touchline to speak to the manager. Make a rule where if a player is getting treatment, the rest of the players have to wait in the centre-circle or something.

Everton 1-4 Newcastle United (29/11/25) | post-match from pg. 38

Barry genuinely looked like he'd just walked in off the street to play yesterday. One of the worst centre-forwards I've ever seen in the Premier League. -
That should be his "average". Big contribution to some goals, posed a threat. Much better.
-
Yeah that was fucking massive..

It's fine. Just no sign of us evolving. If Everton have any sense, block the lines to the full-backs and the midfield, make us play long or force to play out through Burn, we'll not really trouble them. -

If Ramsdale dropped a rick today and was replaced straight away I'd be fucking foaming like given Pope's form. -

Saw the Motherwell manager the other night saying his plan to beat Hibs was to stop the supply and let Grant Hanley play out. Motherwell beat them 2-0. Wouldn't take much for teams to do the same against us. -

Surely it's Thiaw & Schar tonight? Would be ridiculous to change it after last week. -
Linked with Guendouzi & Conor Gallagher.

Up until he signed for us, being good at shot stopping and crosses was probably enough to get by. I'm not having it that you can't improve through repetition, he hasn't improved AT ALL in 3 and a half years at a club who are competing at the very top. He's lucky he only had Dubravka competing with him for the bulk of his time here.
-
It's absolutely criminal that in 3 and a half years he's not learned how to at least be average at kicking a football. Surely after training he'd have improved if he just spent half an hour with an academy lad practicing pinging a ball, or having someone pressing him and him passing out wide. Negligence if he's not at least tried.

We've failed at Leeds, west Ham, Brighton, Brentford & Marseille.

He shouldn't have to do his own filing.

Gordon for Isak straight swap.
