If those red dots are the saves, then it shows how disappointed you'd be in your keeper if any were a goal.

Dubravka in 2018 was one. People questioned why we signed him when we had Darlow & Elliot. The upgrade was instant.
-
The couple of months he was out last season was a glimpse of what we could progress to. Dubravka was no more than above average, but our football and confidence at the back with him was much better. Ramsdale is by far better than Dubravka. We really need to make the switch.
-
It was a bobbly shot not going into the corner. If any keeper doesn't save that, he gets called out for it.
-
Dubravka saves all bar the Timber one. He's a lower level PL keeper. Verbruggen, Kelleher, dare I say, Ramsdale, etc make the saves Pope makes today. And they don't shit the bed when the ball is at their feet.

Didn't look a free header to me, Botman was close, was just an excellent cross and great header.

Agree with a lot of this when it comes to the top 5/6. I think we'll eventually get to a similar points total as last season, but it'll be by beating that mid-group more often and losing more to the top sides. Isak was that "X-factor" that got us the draws and wins against these teams, I think our squad with the new forwards will eventually start being more consistent against the rest, though.

Him and Thiaw should be the first choice CBs from now. Wouldn't be surprised in the least if we try to shoehorn Burn back into the LB spot now Tino could be out.
-
Said start of the season that I thought he needed to start moving away from the likes of Pope and Burn. They're still "fine", but there's better players in their position at the club who I think should be starting if we want to improve and evolve a bit.

He's a Premier League goalkeeper. An average keeper saves all bar possibly 1 he's made today. 2 including the first 10 seconds v Wolves this season.
-
Needs a "P5 W4 D1" sort of run between now and City.
-
Think there was one save you'd have not been disappointed with the keeper had it gone in. He makes the routine saves spot on, but that's all he brings.
-
Would have worked in Portugal where his players were blindingly better than every team bar 1 or 2. In the Premier League pretty much has a very good manager, scouting system, good players who can stick to a game plan and punish.

Gambled on Van De Ven and Romero. Also had Bergvall. Shocker of a weekend. -
That guy and Claudio Braga that they signed look brilliant for that level. Shankland looked finished last season, they've helped rejuvenate him. It's like a watered down version of what Robert & Bellamy did for Shearer's career so far.

Goalkeeping errors in their favour and not getting punished when they make mistakes themselves. Starting to think they're going to get enough rubs of the green to stay up.

Guehi and Alderete on the bench. Normality has resumed. -

Main additions in the Wildcard were Donnarumma, Mbeumo, Wirtz and Isak. 8 points combined. Not the best timing. -
Hearts absolutely flying.
-
Less of a touch there on Mbeumo than shirt pull on Woltemade last week.

Last minute taken out Saka for Wirtz. -
Think so, remember a photo of McAteer mime writing saying something like, "you can put this in your next book" as it wasn't long after the WC 2002 stuff.
