  1. It’s fine. It’s diplomatic. It puts the onus on Isak but infers (IMO) that the club has made its conditions known.
  2. A problem shared is a problem halved. Best of luck, mate.
  3. I’m ready. No butterflies yet but will have on Saturday in the build up.
  4. I agree. All that matters is Newcastle United. If we let him go ‘cheap’ then we will likely lose a lot more money in future as cartel clubs will have learnt how to get our best players even when still under contract. He has to stay or go on our terms. I’d tell Liverpool that we agree to sell for £150 million and not a penny less, otherwise he stays. Nothing vindictive or egotistical but laying down a marker so we’re not taken advantage of in future.

Bruno’s mate so there is a connection. I read he feels he owes WHU for standing by him too so he’d only go if the club wanted the money.
  6. That’s the one comment that could be the game changer!!! Otherwise I agree he could be reintegrated. “I was just exploring options, my thigh was injured (honest), when I missed the trip to Asia I went straight to Real to get ready for the new season…..”
  7. Where did the comment that he’ll never play for us again come from? Is it true?
  8. Nah. It’s more than that. It’s not even a matter of expecting him to behave in a morally correct manner and respect the club and coach which put him on the map. He has a contract which he signed. If he’s not happy then negotiate - it’s clear Eddie would never want an unhappy player.
  9. It is time clubs made a stand against player power. Isak and those despicable b*stards at Liverpool tried to use our PSR situation to force us into a decision which his contract is supposed to protect us from. I’m loving the club’s measured but firm stance - it’s time for Isak to realize Nufc is more important than he thinks it is. Hope we sue his balls off for breach of contract.

Bramble was a very good defender apart from his catastrophic blunders which would cost games. I’ve seen plenty players who make bad mistakes but never a one, otherwise, as good as Bramble. Very weird and hugely frustrating.

Of course he has areas to improve. That’s why he won’t cost 80 million. Buying players with good potential for Eddie to improve is exactly what the club should be doing at this stage of our development under PIF.
  12. Eddie is furious, like, you can see it in his eyes at he start of the interview.
  13. It’s a case of maybe losing money now but to earn a lot more in future when our other top players move on. Which other PL club would accept selling Isak for only 100 million? Of course, it’s another effect of PSR. Not only is it designed to make us lose out on players to the cartel clubs but also to accept low ball offers from them through desperation. I’m glad to see the club showing some balls and Isak not getting his way for behaving abysmally.
  14. The dippers made their choice, gazumping us for Ekitike. Stump up 150 million or f*ck off.
  15. Eddie could be a politician. He guides his comments, gently to a certain conclusion and that’s the conclusion he wants us to accept. He doesn’t want a disruptive influence of any kind in the club but he’ll never come out and hammer Isak (he has nothing to gain doing that). In his interviews he certainly doesn’t always tell the truth but he makes you think he is - all comments appear very well planned beforehand.
  16. He did give the ball away a lot but he was always busy and didn’t hide. His pressure got our second. He’s got something.
  17. We’re the new Chelsea.
