Ronaldo
Coloccini's been terrible for 3 seasons. Physically awful, poor effort levels, consistently poor decision making. It's some sort of minor miracle that people are stupid/stubborn enough to continue to advocate his position in the team.
buzza
He still brings it out of defense elegantly and without the spasms that williamson bringing it out evokes! Yep, his defending has gotten ever worse over the last year or two
khay
I'd heard of the term shuttler. But I'm sure it was Mr Cox from ZonalMarking and it was with regards to Ramires. But other people have referred to Andel Di Maria as one also. http://www.fourfourtwo.com/my/features/how-angel-di-marias-wasteful-play-key-manchester-uniteds-season I'm not here to comment on the PSG player as I've not seen them play much. I beg no pardons.

I beg no pardons. I see that you know of the term 'shuttler'. That makes you a very intellectual person indeed. One of the most intellectual on the board. However, you did not spell the name of Angel Di Maria correctly which makes you a complete inebriate who could never even hope to compete with the likes of myself who spells correctly 101% of the time and for that reason I demand an apology. In fact actually no I don't need one, you can just thank me for pointing out your stupidity and you can learn and ensure you do not make the same mistake again in future. Probably because the alternatives are worse, i'm more than happy to see him sold should we bring in another starter on top of Mbemba though.
triggs
It's odd with TCD. He's a cunt because people constantly criticise and laugh at his opinions, and people laugh at and criticise his opinions because he's a cunt

In an ideal world he wouldn't be in the team, as his best years are long gone, but with our current plethora of centre halfs, there's no argument to be had - he has to be in the team. This will hopefully change when we sign Mbemba and whoever else.
Guest reefatoon
Whenever we've been s****. Colo has been s****. that 16th season, more or less awful. I remember being in the minority with that opinion right up until he said he wanted out, then everyone agreed. http://m.c.lnkd.licdn.com/mpr/mpr/p/4/005/07c/3f8/189db7d.jpg

Ronaldo
I wouldn't have Colo anywhere near the team. Of the senior CBs we've got I'd only start him ahead of Williamson.
Guest
I think with a better partner you could get another season out of him.

Paully
I think with a better partner you could get another season out of him. Totally agree! There is no point in debating Colo with Ron as it's blatantly obvious that the curly-haired one has bummed his pet dog or budgie!

What is it with you and Colo man? Everyone knows your opinion, I haven't seen one of your posts for a while and then when I do it's in the Steve McClaren thread and it's about Colo...I don't get it. tom1988
I think the problem with Colo is that he's had to cover both positions as for the last however many years we've had absolute shite lined up next to him. I think if he was in a position where he could trust his partner to pull his weight and then develop a solid relationship with the left back akin to the one he had with Enrique then we may see his game improve. Colo was and in my opinion still is a classy, quality player and to be honest I don't really blame his head going over the last few years - look at what he's had to put up with, playing next to iron mike and being managed by mr hoofball pards. Add into the equation that Taylor is very rarely available and you can see why he had to play the majority of last season. I think if Mbemba signs (and is half decent considering none of us have seen much of him), and Dummett isn't at left back, we'll not see much of Colo starting. No doubt he still retains talent though, and may flourish once again alongside a more commanding, younger centre half. I imagine it's been very difficult to play alongside a non-footballer in his twilight years.
AyeDubbleYoo
When everything is falling apart around him, Colo goes to pieces very quickly. I don't think there's any reason he couldn't do alright partnered with Mbemba and a functional midfield in front. Signings very welcome obviously! Exiled in Texas
A real club would have arranged an SBR annual tournament between Ipswich, ourselves, PSV and Sporting....rotate around the clubs every year I think more appropriate for the club in its current state would be an annual Alan Pardew is a c*** tournament between ourselves, Charlton, West Ham, and Southampton. It would have the added advantage of not having to play games in Europe thus meaning we weren't relegated before the season starts. Grrrrr.... Do not make me laugh when on conference call with the boss :D
Mole_Toonfan
I don't disagree with Ronaldo on Colo tbh, i just equally find the alternatives to be just as bad in their own way.

No doubt Colo has been crap. But he has a better player inside of him then any of the alternatives.
Sho Time
Agree, every single centre-half we have currently is not good enough both on paper and in practice for various reasons. McClaren still needs to focus all his efforts on bringing in another 1 even if we do get Mbemab.
The College Dropout
I wouldn't have Colo anywhere near the team. Of the senior CBs we've got I'd only start him ahead of Williamson. Agreed. The College Dropout
2 CB's from two different foreign countries without a common language AND new to the league is a recipe for disaster or... one of them sitting on the bench. If we add a CB to Chancel he needs PL experience if he's to come sraight into the first team
