Astroblack Posted Monday at 13:28 Share Posted Monday at 13:28 Could have swore when we sold him to Villa, the thread title was “Aston Villa gift us £12 million for James Milner”. Was absolutely furious. Knew he’d have this career. KK wanted to build the team around him and N’Zogbia. And we got Xisco and Nacho. Why I’m never down about the club nowadays, I’ll always remember where we were.
Kid Icarus Posted Monday at 13:38 Share Posted Monday at 13:38 What a career he's had man. He's the type of player you appreciate more and more as you get older I think. Some going to have two title rivals both think the world of you as a player. Mental that he's only a year younger than me when I think about the back pain I sometimes have just from existing Started before Rooney and ended after Rooney who's the same age as well. Superior Acuña Posted Monday at 13:39 Share Posted Monday at 13:39 I thought he was good for us and we should've kept him. But I never thought he'd go onto what he did.

Skeletor Posted Monday at 15:24 Share Posted Monday at 15:24 Never wanted him to leave in the first place. I remember people seemed to really believe he was crap and I have no idea what they were seeing.

Always talking about his step overs, his LOOKS, was the weirdest thing. Was obvious he was gonna be a great player, used to read his BBC interviews talking about how he didn't drink, how hard he trained, his 05-06 Villa season as well as his play during the 2006-2007 season scoring against Man U in a delipidated squad with Solano at RP and Huntington and Edgar in the squad. Mental.
Viana Posted Monday at 15:47 Share Posted Monday at 15:47 He reminds me ever so slightly of Bernardo Silva in so much as he was such a good footballer that he comfortably played across midfield, including long stretches in central midfield. I remember walking behind him once when I was much younger and he swore like a trooper mind.

I remember KK played him at CM and said he could be the next Rob Lee Or something like that Was gutted we let him go - especially because of that damn Schweinstieger nonsense
Shearergol Posted Monday at 15:58 Share Posted Monday at 15:58 I always thought he was shite, so perhaps when Elanga leaves he'll end up being class too.
Dr.Spaceman Posted Monday at 16:42 Share Posted Monday at 16:42 He used to run like a monkey and would insist on crossing from the strangest angle, requiring strikers to giraffe neck swing the ball towards the goal. That's all I can remember from his time here.

Optimistic Nut Posted Monday at 17:05 Share Posted Monday at 17:05 Thought he was an average winger who had a couple of decent spells, and not sure he was right for a CM spot in a 4-4-2. Teams starting to move to an extra midfielder was perfect for him.

I think I remember ( long time ago) a major reason for so many being happy with the sale was that N'Zogbia would get more playing time on the left wing.
