Shearergol
Wenger was on SSN saying that they wouldn't be signing him. Expect him on loan in the next couple of days

Guest elbee909
Yes, I'm sure Beckham can just easily teach people how to cross/take free kicks like him, without having to put in the thousands of hours of practise that he undertook. Crazy.
GG
He should hop over the fence and train with us, teach Williamson and Stewart how to deliver fucking set pieces.
ChezGiven
A dead ball specialist would be perfect for us. I did hear he was considering coming to train with us about 3 months ago. Unsurprisingly decided against it.

Guest nufc_geordie
Funny that he is wearing the number 23 in full kit. I may be a cynic but I expect a 1-2 month loan deal to de announced to cover the ACN.

Guest Ben7
Strange to see him in a Arsenal (training) Kit ... Hopefully tough it helps him get his 100th Cap against Switzerland (I'll be there and it's my 1st match at the new wembley) after that for all players not playing regulary for your club, not being fit = no call up for England. call up for England only means you get into the squad, not necesarily starting/playing in the games. oldtype
Still a class player. I hate him for going to the MLS instead of coming back to the Prem. ...Of course, if he came back you just know that he'd have scored 2~3 wondergoals against us by now. cubaricho
I would not be surprised in the least to see him on the pitch for Arsenal. If he was just training with them then why deck him out in a full training kit with a number and everything? It won't surprise me if a loan deal is reached. I think he'll join on loan, as he wants to play for England and Cappello is constantly attending matches in the PL, so it's senseless to be in LA in the close season when there's England games soon. ChrisJbarnes
haha. cant understand why he'd go to arsenal though, they have no english players! fair enough good training facilities i guess. we were being linked with a permanent move for him a while back mackems.gif

Think Beckham being decked out in Arsenal kit is the player's way of paying for them letting him use their facilities and train with the first team squad. The additional revenue, profile raising, etc will more than cover the 'expense/burden' of having him train there.

They're not gonna have him train in clothes from home. and plus he needs their stuff for when they play practice matches and do drills with 2 teams in practice. When Adu trained with ManU he was all kited out.

Guest Ben7
according to Wenger (see on official page) all players who come for training and trials get kitted out in club gear. I think that's common practice at most clubs or at least those who have enough "funds/agreements" with the gear supplier. His contract with LA Galaxy forbids him to play for another club in any competition bar charity games or Internationals. This counts for all players btw, unless they do a loan or a transfer which won't happen in this specific case.
