Guest Paulus
Didn't Barton play left wing and Duff in the centre in the Arsenal match...? At least it seemed like that in the end!

ATB
Milner don´t bring pace either. he is also out of form and it´s right to rest him. If enrique should play I would play in a different way, otherwise this is ok. My only consern is Smith and that Viduka isen´t playing

ShearMagic
Great. We're coming up against another 4-5-1. Same formation Bolton played. Another 0-0?

KaKa
.........Butt......... ..Barton..Emre.. .........Duff........ ? Weird midfield. It will end up being something a bit more like this I reckon with Duff and Emre switched around i.e. Emre the most forward of the lot. I think Carr and Zoggy will be encouraged to bomb forward. Let's see what happens. There's no point saying Sam would have been slaughtered if he picked that team. The difference will be in what they are told to do out there, and how they are asked to play. We have a lot of people out ther who can pass the ball around so if we take advantage it could really work. Keep the faith. Let's see how it works

tmonkey
He would still be in the job if he knew anything other than playing ridiculously defensive and boring tactics that neither achieved its aims (ie defensive solidarity) nor got the results to compensate for it.
