LooneyToonArmy
if the Modric story is bollox I wouldn`t mind us trying for Daniel Carvalho.....who City are supposed to be after. Another top playmaker but doesn`t get as much recognition as he plays in Russia....definitely more realistic. Played for Brasil a number of times but having the likes of Kaka and Diego ahead of him doesnt help

steve_69
.............................Mr Fantastic Beye...........The Thing........The Hulk.........Superman Silver Surfer..........Wolverine..........The Punisher ...............................Owen ..............Martins...................Captain America We might not get them all but with Ashley's money i think we've got a chance of at least a couple. Slight concerns over the temperaments of The Hulk and Wolverine but Keegan has a good record of working with 'problem' players so i think they're worth the risk. And i realise the inclusion of Captain America might not be to everyone's liking but he's got a fantastic engine. If the coaches can improve his technique in front of goal he could be a real threat. SUPERTOON
Also in Daily Express DAILY EXPRESS Kevin Keegan has targeted two of the biggest young stars in European football - Croatia's Luka Modric and Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar - in a bid to break the monopoly of the Premier League's 'big four'. Guest teepee
modric and huntelaar would be fantastic i suppose - but i fear neither, especially the latter, is realistic sidwell would probably be a decent signing if we are to stick with a three man midfield
SUPERTOON
KEVIN KEEGAN has reacted to securing Newcastle United's Premier League status by moving quickly on the transfer front in an attempt to strengthen his squad ahead of the new campaign. And it is a sign of his intentions that the Magpies boss, who heads to West Ham tomorrow without any fear of relegation, is courting two players with a combined worth of around £40m. Newcastle's representatives have already met up with the vice-chairman of Dinamo Zagreb, Zdravko Mamic, and attacking midfielder Luka Modric in the hope of acquiring the highly-sought after player. But the negotiations are not going to stop there. Dennis Wise, Newcastle's director of football, has also renewed the club's long-standing interest in another of European football's hottest properties, Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. He first emerged on to the Tyneside radar when Glenn Roeder was in charge, with the forward's team-mate Urby Emanuelson also monitored. Since then Roeder's departure and the ill-fated reign of Sam Allardyce led to Newcastle cooling their interest, but now there has been a fresh move for the gifted Huntelaar. It is understood that there has been an enquiry for the 24-year-old from St James' Park, although Ajax are in no rush to sell having recently broadened their wage structure. The Amsterdam giants also know that with Manchester United and Real Madrid also in the hunt for his services, their £18m valuation could soar over the coming months
Guest elpapi
I think Moussa Dembele would be a good try, can hold up the ball brilliantly, great feet, doesn't score enough yet, but a lot more mobile than viduka! needs a step up from AZ, still young and wouldn't command a huge fee... and yes he's Belgian
