Dokko
Think we should whack a £10m bid on for Bent, i think he's a good all rounder who hasn't had the chance to shine at Spurs, he's get it here. Much better option than the crock Ashton.
La Parka
As I have been saying for 2 years, crouch is ideal.
1878
Manuel Fernandes would be an excellent signing imo, doesn't seem to be going to Everton permanently as far as I can tell from today's rumours. 1878, if you're reading, what have you thought of him this year? I thought he was class last season for both Pompey and you, not seen a huge amount of Everton this year. Asking price is supposed to be £12m despite him being unwanted at Valencia who are struggling for cash. Bit steep. He's very talented but hasn't been as good this season as he was in his last loan spell, he started very slowly probably due to a lack of fitness/games. I still think he can be one of the top midfielders around if he ups his workrate and application a bit.

I'd also take Crouch here. One of the most underrated players in the league. He'd become a cult hero here.
Mr Logic
Based on recent comments, and a rough knowledge of the type of player Keegan likes, I reckon we'll make at least an enquiry about SWrightyP.

geordieglory
It cracks me up that there are so many people on here who think Gattuso is no longer good enough for us, yet at the same time there are those wanting Jimmy Bullard. Gattuso is good enough for us but I doub't he'd come. He said he wants to end his career in Glasgow. Plus you can Guarantee if we went for him Spurs and Everton would meaning we'd lose him as he'd want to play in Europe. Bullard is good enough to do a good job in our team. He's certainly better than Geremi. We'd all Like to buy the cream of europe. Until we realise we can't sign the likes of Modric and stop buying overpaid hasbeens instead to keep the fans happy we'll never achieve anything. Excellent post. Dinho lad
Gattuso is good enough for us but I doub't he'd come. He said he wants to end his career in Glasgow. he also said he wants to end it at Boca Juniors!

Gash
Sol should go to Italy, he could get a good couple of years out of himself there. I think he should go to you lot though

geordieglory
Newcastle and Spurs in talks with Benfica over their fullback Nelson apparently. He's a right-back, so I can't see Spurs buying him, even if they move Chimbonda on. They bought Hutton for £9m in January and he's looked fairly canny for them, so I can't see them buying another right-back, especially for big bucks. Not to say we'll get him, but don't think Spurs are in for him.
Disco
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%A9lson_Marcos Sounds like a Keegan-esque FB if there is such a thing. Can't see him coming in as cover though unless he plays him LB or moves Beye.
relámpago blanco
We are going to have to start going for players spurs aren't after. They are far more attractive to join what with Europe, London and a global name as manager.

If we don't bother to compete then we'll always be losers.

It seems at the minute they don't have a scouting network they just wait for us to make a bid.

As for London, well we can offer more money so we each have an advantage there. I'd say the only thing in there favour is Europe. Sorry but its ludicrous to say we should drop interest in players because the Spuds are after them. I mean common they aren't Madrid, Barca or Manure.. I know I wasn't really being serious just a bit pissed off at losing out on Modric. It's just in the last few years we've nicked plenty of players from under the noses of Spurs (Parker, Duff etc). Seems the trends changing despite their not being much difference in the position of the club. I really hate Spurs for some reason I can't understand and I can't stand it when they beat us to a player.

fredbob
Ronaldo was said to be looking for a new club as it doesnt look like he's gonna be offered another contract at Milan - would anyone take a massive gamble on him? I probably would, massive gamble but ithink he could make it in the prem.
