Think Ferdinand has had a better season than Vidic...just. I know his stats don't show it, but by his standards, he's not been great. I agree, hasn't been as effective as past two seasons but still had a very good one, only other decent CM's i could think of were Carrick and Barry neither of whom have been overly outstanding for the full duration of the season and Gerrard who has only been good since christmas.
