should our Debt/Value % not be 0 thought ashley wiped all that out.

I'm not sure he wiped it all out, I think he put somewhere between £75 million and £80 million in to get rid of the big debts that were costing a fortune to finance and one which he had no choice but to pay off due to the terms of the original loan.

Valencia and West Ham are not looking to healthy

Easy to see why Valencia are looking to sell Villa/Silva etc.  They look seriously in the mire.

Aye they have had to cancel there approach for Racing manager cause they cant afford him so they will be selling more than them two

OK, I can't remember that, I just remember two large amounts of debt being paid off.

Next year ours will have improved.

Still remarkable to see where we are. When you look at the names around us.

Agreed, and for Spurs too.  Two clubs who don't have regular CL income, Spurs with a small ground still as well, yet both rubbing shoulders with Inter and Lyon.

This from last month mentions only paying off £75 million unless I've missed something.

One story with quotes about our £100 million debt but nothing to say it's all paid off but it is implied.

$300 * 43/100 * 0.49910 = £64.4m debt at the end of 06-07 season.

Maybe he needs a new accountant?
