He doesn't do so well as a lone striker apparently. Can't wait to see this.

He won't be played as a lone striker though. Not if Tevez stays.

So they'll put Silva out wide?

He's clever enough to play wherever he wants. ;)

For all of Man City's so called off the field problems, they have a major chance of winning the league.Dzeko is a fine striker.

A. Johnson - Y. Toure - De Jong - Silva

                           Tevez

                           Dzeko

Perhaps?

Perhaps not seeing as Mancini clearly doesn't rate Johnson.

-----------------De Jong----Yaya-------------------

Milner/Balo-------------Tevez------------Silva----

--------------------------Dzeko----------------------

Tbh i think it's a stupid signing. Mancini's finding it hard accommodating players as it is. All that is going to happen now is he'll leave more good players on the bench and play players out of position.

City could quite easily go 4-3-3 tbh with Dzeko the focal point of their attack with Tevez and Balotelli switching as the wing forwards. Mancini would never do this but having De Jong and Toure as DMs could protect Silva who would be the lone playmaker for the front 3.

Kinda like this:

    De Jong    Toure

                Silva

Tevez                    Balotelli

              Dzeko
