Pilko
Are Hull attempting to form the shittest PL team in history? Bids accepted for Zamora and Daryl Murphy, and they also have interests in Whitehead, Boa Morte and Kevin Nolan.

Guest timmy boy
Brown said last season his forwards didn't score enough goals so he goes and signs Murphy and Zamora for around 7 million who scored 3 goals between them in 60 odd games.

Elliottman
Zamora is one of the worst strikers ive ever seen in the PL. How he continues to get PL clubs is beyond me.

Pilko
Nevland must have been so pissed off. I think he scored the same or more PL goals than Zamora in about four starts and around 20 fleeting sub cameos. Even when I went to Craven Cottage and Zamora started on the bench, he managed to come on for the final five or six minutes and fluff a one on one
KaKa
I will never ever understand these managers. Rather than pay more for someone you know cannot score in the premiership why not spend less on one of the young championship strikers who scored a lot of goals last season and see if they can do it at a higher level. Bobby Zamora? Darryl Murphy?
AyeDubbleYoo
Premiership experience is way overrated IMO... it's almost as if clubs don't have any scouting systems at all. Any armchair fan could fill a team with these kind of players just through watching MOTD - where is the expertise?
brummie
Is this Milner moving into the centre then? He's not as good as Young or Downing, but is a bit expensive for a squad player. That's what I think he will do. Also, Young and Milner can also play both left and right wing. Have you seen how many matches the Europa League involves this season? I'm just glad we're getting decent standard players in to build up the strength this time around.
AyeDubbleYoo
No reason to be anything other than happy with the Downing signing brummie, maybe a bit pricey but everyone is these days.

Id like us to look abroad a little more often, but i quite like Downing. He was superb against us at our place this season, is two footed, and provides ammunition: Daily Telegraph - Chances Created Last Season 1 Frank Lampard Chelsea 124 2 Steven Gerrard Liverpool 80 3 Stewart Downing Middlesbrough 72 4 Luis Antonio Valencia Wigan Athletic 70 5 Wayne Rooney Manchester United 67 6 Francesc Fabregas Arsenal 63 7 Mikel Arteta Everton 63 8 Dirk Kuyt Liverpool 63 9 Mark Noble West Ham United 63 10 Nicolas Anelka Chelsea

South America is a gold mine if people would just put in the work and scout there properly. It's hardly a risk too as the players are so cheap. Valencia cost Wigan less than £1 million for goodness sake.
