Neil
2.5 for Kranjcar is nuts. You'd think they'd overpay for him but for once they've actually signed a player on a bargain fee. Pompey are definatly getting relegated now. 2.5m now or nothing in 5/10 months tbh.
Cajun
So how much of Diego Arismendi have you lot seen (those calling it a great deal/signing)?
Guest MrSundlofer
Fulham sign David Elm from Kalmar FF Strange, strange, strange! He has 2 brothers playing for the Swedish national team, but this striker, David Elm, ain't good!
Dinho lad
So how much of Diego Arismendi have you lot seen (those calling it a great deal/signing)? Maybe he's confusing him with that Arizmendi fella who plays in spanish football.
Gash
Aye, we had that problem at work today when someone came in and said Arismendi had signed for Stoke, we presumed the Deportivo one!
ElDiablo
James Collins to Aston Villa. Average as fuck.
Guest neesy111
James Collins to Aston Villa. Average as fuck. Aston Villa = England B Team o'neill has spent over 130 million on a team that doesn't include 1 class player imo, (ashley young is overated massively imo)
SEMTEX
Looking at the Pompey squad... looks like 8 of them will be off in January for African Nations duty Seem even more fucked that I had considered. We've just got Geremi and maybe Kazenga?
Mr. Snrub
John Carew is a class act.
Guest Heneage
So how much of Diego Arismendi have you lot seen (those calling it a great deal/signing)? That's what I was thinking I thought it was the ex depor man at first.
Mowen
Unbelievable Niko Kranjar signs for Tottenham for £2.5M What a steal Why did no other club try to buy Kranjar at this price. We are not professionals and we don't know Kranjar was in last year of his contract. However surely all those agents, scouts, managers do. Spurs top 5 this season tbh I've got them down for 6th, begrudgingly. Put together a decent squad there.

We've just got Geremi and maybe Kazenga? Congo DR can't qualify for the ACN, so even if wor Kazenga was good/stupid enough to go and play for them he won't be missing

Aston Villa = England B Team o'neill has spent over 130 million on a team that doesn't include 1 class player imo, (ashley young is overated massively imo) Well, if you think James Collins is going to be getting in the England B team anytime soon, i can suggest a rather large geographical reason he won't. MON's transfer activity is bewildering, but Ashley Young and John Carew are class players by any definition. He can also point to the consecutive top six finishes as evidence that, whatever it is that goes through his slightly odd head, it works.

Guest kingdawson
James Collins and Richard Dunne? come on Brummie, even Hull city fans would probably be pissed off if they signed those 2.

Aye, i think though, and i think from your previous posts you would agree, that if he sometimes brought a few players from abroad you could be REALLY challenging for top 4 and even better than you did last season! Obviously the latter two aren't rated highly enough to get in ahead of RB Danny Simpson.

They did a lot last season. This season we won't need to push them as we have other options. Anyway i'd rather a crippled Ledley King than that sideshow Dunne. Pilko
James Collins should be ahead of Dunne. Collins isn't spectacular by any means but he's a fairly solid, standard defender. Dunne is a fat shambles of a player, O'Neill must be mental to think he's good enough for a top 6 team
Tooj
Dunne had a poor season last year but before that he was Citeh's player a few years running iirc. Really turned his career round.
