Ishmael
To be fair to Owen he's seemed reasonably sharp when he's got on the pitch this season... he might do alright if he gets more game time. Don't be absurd. The guy won't get on the pitch, and even if he manages it he will be invisible as usual. Hate biased ignorant posts such as this. Owen will not get on the pitch because he always gets injured in training. It is the reason he has hardly played at Man United, as he can't even get on the bench because he's always injured. Owen for a good number of years has been invisible on the pitch even when he does play, as he contributes nothing unless some scraps happen to fall to him in the box, and even now he misses these regularly. There's your explanation, Mr. Unbiased and Unignorant. So stick it. Your hero Michael Owen is no more. Maybe he can take his impish self and become a jockey or something. Gash
If any manager gave Owen a game ahead of Wellbeck/Gyan/Bent or F. Campbell when he's back he'd deserve to be relegated.
Guest Stephen927
Does Owen only ever play for clubs that are rivals to each other? The little cunt would see out his career at Atletico or Barca if he had the chance.

Cajun
Good player but it's this sort of signing that makes me think about their "decline". He is a Spurs time signing, not a money bags, title chasing sides signing. They seem to be going a bit last years Man City.

SUPERTOON
Muntari handed in a transfer request at Inter Milan last night. Sunderland favourites to sign him. Never really rated him tbh scores an occasional screamer like.
Stottie
Good player but it's this sort of signing that makes me think about their "decline". He is a Spurs time signing, not a money bags, title chasing sides signing. They seem to be going a bit last years Man City. It sounds like Chelsea have run out of money. Lots of folks have done comparisons between their bench in the first Mourinho season and now. Before it was internationals like Crespo. Now its Sturridge and Van Aanholt. New financial regulations are coming in, they need to trim their wage bill and fill the squad with younger players. Would love to have PVA on our bench.
