Guest
Christ I was only talking about him because he was a past panic buy and when you mentioned Elmander it reminded me of that signing, but by all means nibble if you like.

TaylorJ_01
What's Rasiak upto these days? Wiki AEL limassol F.C He signed his contract with one of the top teams in Cyprus, AEL, after leaving Reading due to the fact that his team couldn't afford him. He appeared in many matches of the Cypriot team but has found it hard to score a goal. He showed the country he has the ability but he always ended up unlucky, he has been given many chances but he doesn't seem ready to score the 'easy goal' that his team wanted him to do. No goals in 16 apperances. 'Found it hard to score'

Village Idiot
Rossi signed a new contract with Villarreal just two weeks ago, too.
Segun Oluwaniyi
From Spurs?? Wtf? That's not very Jew-ish like What? Any of them would be fantastic signings for Spurs. It's a bit mad o wait until the end of the window to start throwing massive bids at so many players. The Spurs/Chelsea January 2001 method of doing business is very odd. Disco
Rossi signed a new contract with Villarreal just two weeks ago, too. Big bucks for Villarreal. I think Man United have got first dibs on him should they sell IIRC.

Basically Arry & Levy are searching the database on FM with the 'Interested' filter on & then calling all them clubs.

The money made from Champions League qualification in the summer pays for this outlay straight away.

In a way its a shame they signed Hernandez as they probably don't need Rossi at this time.

It's a bit mad o wait until the end of the window to start throwing massive bids at so many players. The Spurs/Chelsea January 2001 method of doing business is very odd. I said a couple of days ago that bidding for Carroll was only a PR gimmick to make the fans think Redknapp were serious about getting a striker without giving the impression he had f*cked up the window. We can now add LLorente, Aguerro, Negredo and Rossi to Carroll's name. It was said 4/5 days ago that Rossi had turned Spurs down and a bid for Benzema was turned down by RM. ITK's were saying about 3 weeks ago that Spurs were in pole position to sign Suarez having made an inital bid of £18m but Redknapp was having second thoughts about whether he would be a good fit for the PL. I haven't seen or heard anything to make me think Spurs will be signing a striker this window. Massive cock up imo.
