Teasy
Dear god, have you read some of that crap "Fans have been debating on the club message boards what Keegan’s views might mean to the likes of Owen. Does he really want to stay with a team which has targeted fifth place?"... These are so called news papers with nothing better to do then make claims with no facts, quote ficticious people and comment on people on message boards

fredbob
Be interesting to see if a) this meeting is legit, seems that way and b) what Keegans response will be after this supposed meeting. Keegan is one of the easiest people to read and it will show alot about his relationship with the board et al in light of recent events.

thomas
More paper shite. ............ when it suits you .......... More a case of not trusting the messenger, regardless of the message. Exempli Gratia: the £100m "warchest" stories. Nice as they sounded, didn't believe a word of them. And just like this story it's 100% "speculation" over how person A is "understood to be x" and person B is "said to be y". If it's accurate, fine, I'm just not putting stock in it until the dust settles.
chicago_shearer
Owen unhappy Oba to Arsenal Ashley to sell up No funds in summer A negative Newcastle story is always worth a few extra paper sales because there is a massive national fan base and nothing going on - so just make it up and cause a little panic among the high strung. If I was a journalist, I'd do exactly the same thing. Easy money.
Mick
Some of our fans are as bad as those who print this shite, no wonder they print so much crap when so many lap it up. If we don't have any problems then plenty of people seem only too happy to create them.
KaKa
This is exactly why Keegan should have never made all those comments. Drama at Newcastle once again and right when we should be focused on rebuilding the team. Just great!
johnnypd
the facts are that three separate papers are reporting a meeting tomorrow. the meeting could be the 'super death face off' between keegan and ashley, or keegan and wise, that they are reporting, or it could be a routine discussion about plans for the summer, that's if it even takes place at all. hopefully it's not the former. johnnypd
Be interesting to see if a) this meeting is legit, seems that way and b) what Keegans response will be after this supposed meeting. Keegan is one of the easiest people to read and it will show alot about his relationship with the board et al in light of recent events. it does look a bit like keegan's comments (or outbursts if you are that way inclined) are him attempting to force ashley into a spending spree, by overstating the gap between us and the top four. you could say he'd be better off doing it in private but this way he can force the issue and get definitive results so he knows where he and the club stands. Or it could be somebody stirring shit like they were earlier in the season when TrueFaith and Mort both suggested that they knew who it was. One person talks a load of bollocks and the others report it.
