Right, so shall we see if we can get this wee beauty up to 150 pages before this Capuccino lad actually signs?

That's easy.  "Shepherd".  "Board".  "Ashley."  "Ambition."  "Gordon Lee."

There.  That should do it.

is this the best defence we've had, we've got 1 world class CB, 2 v good fullbacks and another good CB

beye - coloccini - faye - enrique

even when woodgate came, this was it then

hughes - o'brien/bramble - woodgate - bernard

i prefer the current one now like

Bit early to say like.

The above had better midfielders in front of them anyway, which negated the lack of overall quality.

This saga has gone from "Next 24 hours" to "over the weekend" to "he's coming today (Tuesday)"

And, if our 'esteemed negotiating team' of Wise, Jimeniez and whoever, are spending all their time on this one deal  -  what else are they (not) doing?

I am not quick to worry . . . but I am starting to wonder a bit about the future . . . ?

I can't see them spending all this time on one deal.  Once everything is agreed its out of their hands and up to the medical staff.  I think we'll see another 1 this week.

I would speculate that everything has been agreed on Saturday, but perhaps Collo wanted to sort a few bits and bobs out at home (in spain) first.

We have already been informed that an agreement has been made on price, we were also told that personal terms had been agreed prior to a price being agreed.  All thats left is the medical today and then he is signed.

I'm guessing all will be tied up before 16:00 today.

As for Wise & Co, I dont think they will have been working on other deals rather than concentrating on one that has pretty much been sorted since Friday Night/ Saturday morning.

This may be nothing.... but.....

Mike Ashley was due back in Sports Direct yesterday but was 'tied up on other business' (or so I've had let slip).

He may have just faniced a night in Magaluf. he may have been on other business. Or he may be involved in something big to do with us. No details forthcoming unfortunately
