sixx
Would like to see him on the right flank with hopefully more space for his runs. He's not strong enough to deal with centre backs like Hangeland etc. Would like to see him in this system: Barton Tiote Nolan Ranger Jonás Lövenkrands? Didn't he play on the right wing against Chelsea in the cup?
Geordie Ahmed
Also played right wing against Accrington
Skirge
Ranger is Henry in reverse
JH
I think it'll be Best and Loven for the Arsenal game. Either that, or Best upfront and flood the midfield. I just can't see Pardew starting him. Although they all were, Ranger was absolutely woeful last night. He did seem capable of syncing into the 'team' either (ref: the moment when he took the ball from Jonas)
The Prophet
The lad's a headless chicken, you can't criticise his work rate but I'm yet to see an ounce of footballing ability from him.
Flip
The lad's a headless chicken, you can't criticise his work rate but I'm yet to see an ounce of footballing ability from him. I disagree with the last part. I have seen his quality but that was last season in the Championship. He held the ball down well and outpowered many defender. This season though I agree, he seems like a player just running around with no idea what to do. Maybe the instructions are hard, or his simply trying to hard. Cause hi first match against Leicester i think it was, he was very composed held up the ball well, was fast and so on. But this season he's looked like a player on meth, however that has been better than Best and Loven who are two slow as fucker players. At least Nile will bring a defender out of position with his running and build up some space. Best is to easy to defend, I'd even be able to defend him and I'm a striker ffs. Pilko
I don't really feel like any of our forwards will score at the minute, but for all Ranger's faults he actually gets involved in the game one hell of a lot more than Best and Lovenkrands who are absolute passengers. Skirge
Needs one on one coaching... would have been nice if Lambias had not totally fkd off Shearer, we need someone like that to sort Nile out.
Ronaldo
Needs one on one coaching... would have been nice if Lambias had not totally fkd off Shearer, we need someone like that to sort Nile out. He certainly had our strikers bang on form when he was managing.

Flip
He should have buried that chance after Nolan's knock down. Spectacular save to be honest, if its the one where he turned around and shot and Schwarzer made a spectacular save?

Guest Heneage
It was such a tame effort. Both him and best didn't cause Hughes an ounce of trouble, I like Arron but Ranger should be beating him for pace.

Skirge
He was shit last night. Didn't hold up the ball at all. Not true.. he did hold up a few times, once over did really well and showed composure to pick out Guthrie. There was more of an issue of him not being aware and letting the ball go as Jonas was inbehind but Nile intercepted the pass.
AlanSkÃrare
He looks like he needs more football, that's it for me. Not under these circumstances though, which is going to make it hard on him from now until the end of the season. Just hope Pardew has faith in him, because he can become very handy if he develops in the forthcoming years. Still only 19.

True, even older strikers only usually look decent after a spell of games, especially in teams like ours who play long ball and create very few chances.
