Wallace
I think Jonas and Enrique work well together. He has definitely been poorer since Enrique picked up his injury.

Guest frazernufc
If we get back into the prem I don't think he needs replacing, epically as we have more important areas to focus on first.

Heron
Jonas and Enrique are the key to Newcastle's Championship success. fyp Cheers. Actually, I'd even go as far as saying Jonas, Enrique, Colo', S.Taylor and Simpson are the key. Without 3 of those we've been shockingly organised... The whole defensive unit is quite good, albeit against shitty opposition.

AyeDubbleYoo
Simpson is shite I agree, but we've just given him a contract so I imagine the club are planning to use him if we go up.
junkhead
S Taylor needs to be given the RB spot. yep.. he compensates his technical shortcomings with aggressive play, I like that. And by aggressive, I don't mean stupid flying tackles.. he's a rather powerful dribbler. On paper Colo and Williamson should be a decent CB pairing. David28
Who are we realistically gonna buy next season that will improve the RB spot though? Would like to see S.Taylor there tbh. Taylor Coloccini Williamson Enrique Taylor has played there for England U21 and for us as well. Always did well there iirc.

ponsaelius
I made the earlier post about who we could get to improve the right back spot simply because I don't think we could - good full backs are hard to come by and it would cost a good few million to upgrade on Simpson, which just isn't gonna happen. He's certainly seen as our long-term RB
