AyeDubbleYoo
Today's actually turning out to be quite interesting! Didn't see that coming
ChrisMcQuillan
£8 million is a risk. half that and i'd be happier. The only risk is because of his alleged of the field problems. On the field he's an excellent player. he's been injured for ages too. Has he seriously been out for 6 months with a GROIN STRAIN?
Guest johnson293
Wonder why this £8m offer for Johnson hasn't been mentioned on SSN (TV) yet? Usually they mention stuff before it goes online?

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
bit of a joke if we pay £8m for him, while its believed that we got £6m for Given.

S.S.R.
First Barton, now this joker. Why are we spending good money on their problems while giving them our best players on the cheap?
AyeDubbleYoo
bit of a joke if we pay £8m for him, while its believed that we got £6m for Given. Not entirely, he's just at the start of his career and Given's at the end of his. The injuries are a bit worrying though.
ToonTastic
Didn't Steven Gerrard start out life like that. I'm sure they called it something like growing pains at the time and the cure was something like taking out his wisdom teeth. Sounds stupid I know but I'm sure it was something daft like that. ToonTastic
First Barton, now this joker. Why are we spending good money on their problems while giving them our best players on the cheap? To be fair to the board they have made decent money on most of the sales this would be the first low price and by the sounds of things we could get more money depending on what they win, number of games etc.

Money is supposedly tight, and we're still £2m out of pocket should this happen, if you like.
STM
Wonder why this £8m offer for Johnson hasn't been mentioned on SSN (TV) yet? Usually they mention stuff before it goes online? There website is far less reliable than there T.V. If it gets mentioned on the T.V i will start to believe.
thenige
Johnson's been crocked all season, only played three games and is a rumoured piss head. A quality player no doubt, but an injury prone player with issues is the last thing we need with 'man manager' Kinnear.
TêteDeMaure
I know our owners and manager are thick as fuck, but surely not this bad?
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Looking at: - http://www.newcastleairport.com/FlightInformation/ArrivalsDepartures.htm?ArrDep=To and http://www.newcastleairport.com/FlightInformation/ArrivalsDepartures.htm Newcastle Airport isn't closed. Some flights have been cancelled or delayed though. I can't see us signing any foreign players who aren't already here though.

The £2m which would technically be covered by the sale of N'Zogbia meaning we'd still have the £10m JK was promised at the start of the transfer window. nobby_solano
i'd wait until the summer before thinking of signing johnson, we've got enough injured players
LooneyToonArmy
if we`re going to take risks on crocked players, would have stuck in a loan bid for Giles Barnes before he went to Fulham than risking 8m on Johnson right now
mrmojorisin75
he can pass a football though right? like to it's intended target? and can score goals...? doesn't sound all that bad to me at the moment, a priority for me to avoid relegation actually
STM
Personally, i think Johnson would be a cracking signing.
AyeDubbleYoo
Johnson is top drawer, I'm a bit concerned about the injury but if he's assessed and passes a proper medical I would welcome the signing. When back fit he's a class above anything else we've got in midfield.
joeyt
Would like Johnson up here BUT only for less than what we got for Shay
