Guest firetotheworks
It pains me to know that Jonas is probably exactly what Liverpool are missing. Best keep it quiet though eh.
Dave
Tap in there for Guthrie. Good play from Martins that time.
Dokko
Do you think if we had this team out against the mackems we'd have won or at least drawn?
Rob
Good to see Barton talking to Colo and telling him what he wants. We need leaders out there. he's been doing that every time the camras been on him... good stuff
Ronaldo
he's been great this season and all but why does every save that Given makes become a wankfest
LiquidAK
Do you think if we had this team out against the mackems we'd have won or at least drawn? We'd have won, no doubt. Jonas and Barton transformed us when they came on.

Dave
Do you think if we had this team out against the mackems we'd have won or at least drawn? Difficult to say. We didn't play well in that game regardless of the personnel.

Guest
Tell you what, Shola looks a different player (minus that trip). Who knows, maybe the 2 years out of the first-team has made him actually think that he does have to work for his place now, because in the past, Robson, Roeder & Souness seemed to play him no matter what. Allardyce & Keegan ignoring him might have been a kick up the a*se he's needed all this time.
KaKa
Shola and Martins are an awesome pairing , pure entertainment. You won't find two other strikers who alternate between brilliance and um ... not quite brilliant.
Belfast Boy
Is Bassong on the bench? Could use him at Leftback to tighten it up.

Paulie Walnuts
the thing about Shola is he does this sometimes, plays well and makes you think he's showing something, then he just goes back to how he was before...so many false dawns I'm afraid.
